K1000-K3000 Piloting system
INTRODUCTION
CHARACTERISTICS
The FRANCEL piloting system consists of a pre-expansion relay, a pilot relay and a block pilot . Modification of the set point range is achieved by simply changing the pilot relay and pre-expansion relay manometric boxes. This exchange does not require a disassembly tool.

OPERATION The regulator opens by increasing the modulated pressure. OPENING As the flow increases, the outlet pressure ( Pa) decreases on the pilot impulse element (9). Due to the action of the set point springs (7), the pilot (2) then the pre-expansion relay ( 1) open. The pressure of the pre-expansion relay ( Pd) supplies the pilot. The modulated pressure ( Pm) is supplied to the actuator regulation diaphragm (8) by the pilot. The regulator OPENS.
O30
The force of the pressure on the pilot impulse element is overcome by that of the set point springs (7), the pilot (2) and then the pre-expansion relay ( 1) close. The modulated pressure ( Pm) decreases through the pilot reject (RP). The regulator CLOSES.
CLOSING
22/04/2005
As the flow decreases the outlet pressure ( Pa) increases on the pilot impulse element (IP).

COMMISSIONING
SPARE PARTS
Respect the indications given in the technical manual of the appropriate regulator.
Description
MAINTENANCE Disassembly Every year: Disassemble pilot manometric boxes Control commissioning spare parts Tools: Flat spanners 8 for relays 114 and 071, 11 for relay 162 Six-sided spanner 5 for bellows relay Flat pliers M4 x 40 screw • • • •
Unscrew the pilot manometric box (manual) Remove the nozzle (M4 x 40 screw) Unscrew screws ( 9) (spanner) Remove the impulse element (11)
Reassembly Perform the above operations in reverse order. Lightly lubricate O-rings (silicone grease recommended).
