What I’ve Been Up To Hello Key Clubbers, it’s Krysta here! I hope your summer is going great for you, as it is for me. Recently, my grandparents came from the Middle East to celebrate my uncles wedding. It was great to have all of the family back together again! I also just got back from ICON and I really miss everyone. To give you a laugh, my sunglasses got eaten away by the waves! It was sad, but I was able to get new ones. So as you can see, I created a new template that is easy to navigate; now it won’t be so information heavy. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me as always. I hope you enjoy all of the new updates!

June Board Meeting This year’s first board meeting was held at Regis University the weekend of the 9th. Unfortunately I was unable to attend, but I have attached the meeting minutes here so you can I have an idea what the meeting looked like. The next board meeting will be held on August 12th in Glenwood Springs. The picture above is credited to Emily Kingsford, Lt.G of Division 2, taken at the Downtown Denver Aquarium.

The Thirst Project and Key Club For those of you who don’t know, the Thirst Project is the World’s Leading Youth Water Activism Organization. Their aim in this world is to end the global water crisis by going to different third world countries and building wells for families to get safe, clean drinking water. Get more information, here!

Surprise! The Thirst Project is officially partnering with Key Club International and Kiwanis! The man above is named Evan Wesley, one of the founders, and he is the director of school tours. They will be in Colorado September 19-23 and speaking for free at different schools. If you are interested, PLEASE contact me. This is an opportunity you don’t want to pass up!

International Convention 2016 This years International Convention was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I had the most amazing time growing with my fellow board members and key clubbers from our district. We visited CNN and the World Of Coke, along with some other popular spots in Georgia. I encourage you to go if you get the chance, because it truly is a life moving experience.
