Time For Those Dues! Did you say dues? Why yes I did, and while they may not be your favorite part of Key Club they make it possible for all the wonderful opportunities Key Club provides us as members. This is why it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to make sure you get your dues in on time, and also for those who like getting awards we have the early bird award. Basically if everyone in your club gets there dues in and you have them submitted to KCI before Nov 1st then you recive the Early Bird award. To the left I have included the exact dates reguarding dues.

Important Dates For Dues ● September 1st: Due process begins ● October 15th: Early Bird deadline begins ● November 1st: Early Bird deadline ends ● December 31st: Dues deadline (If dues are not paid by this time, a late notice will be sent to said club) ● February 1st: Club status will be suspended

Need a little money?

Why are dues so important?

Well than you in luck! While the base fee is $12, you can easily add a few extra dollars to cover tee shirts, advertsing, or even just a little extra club spending more. I would however reccomend that you don’t go above $25, that way you aviode potential members from being discouraged to join because of the price.

I know paying dues can be annoying, but they’re actually very important when it comes to the foundation and operation of KCI. Paying dues keeps track of how many members in our district, provides funding, and keeps clubs active!
