Divisional Meeting Recap This past August 20th, officers from Division 15 got together at Castlewood Library to get to know each other and learn about the future of our division. They got to meet me and ask questions about serving their club and the greater Rocky Mountain District. A huge thanks to all the officers who came out, and the schools they represented: Smoky Hill, Eaglecrest, Arapahoe, and Grandview. We have 9 total schools in our division—I’d love to see attendance from you guys as well!

Charity Feature Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is perhaps one of the largest fundraising events for breast cancer in the world.

Honoring victims and survivors, raising awareness, and bringing people together has been at the forefront of this organization since 1983. Just 800 runners in Dallas, Texas soon gave rise to a worldwide series of over 150 5K runs and fitness walks spanning 4 continents, encompassing over 1 million people.

First time walkers and marathon runners alike participate in this incredibly moving event each year. Denver has its own Race for the Cure, and you can register as a runner, volunteer, fundraiser, or even “sleep in for the cure” to get involved! Send pictures! When: September 27, 2015, beginning at 6am Where: Pepsi Center (downtown) More info: www.colorado.info-komen.org
