Club Isolation (Not attending conventions, rallies, PCMs, or no contact with the LTG) No regular meeting schedule Lack of a full board of directors of a committee system Extremely small membership General poor attendance (this applies both to very large clubs and very small clubs) Past due payments Lack of understanding about Key Club and the Kiwanis Family Kiwanis or faculty advisors are seldom present at meetings Members do not attend or work with the Kiwanis Lack of leadership

Suggestions on How to Strengthen Your Club  

Make sure Kiwanis is actively involved in the club; both projects and meetings. Set up a meeting with your sponsoring Kiwanis Club president, your Club Board of Directors, the School Principal, your Key Club Advisor, and your LTG to determine what caused the active club to fall. Enlist the Principal’s support in reactivation. Contact your Lieutenant Governor regularly to make sure you are getting the resources/assistance you need (Contact information available at rmdkeyclub.org) Schedule consistent Board Meetings and Club Meetings. Make sure to have consistent service projects. Have a membership drive each semester.
