What does it mean to design a new city within a city - what ideas are taken from the host culture and what is left behind? How can spatial design, planning and policy perpetuate a genuine idea of the local? This event will be co-hosted by Mark Jacques’ studio “Going Gowntown” and Mauro Baracco and Caitlyn Parry’s studio on “Melbourne’s Urban Innovation District”.
