Members working for train operating companies have been instructed once again not to book on for shifts between 00:01 and 23:59 on 13/05/23

Please come and support your local picket lines The show of solidarity over the past year has been massive, from both members and the general public, and we must stay strong if we are to achieve our goals Indeed, the fact we even have offers from the RDG is tantamount to the pressure we are putting on the employers and the government by our continued industrial action - this must continue so we can provoke an offer worth agreeing to

The Tory government would like to remove our right to strike and to make our voices heard with their restrictive anti-strike and anti-protest laws: get out there on the picket lines and show them we will not be silenced!

Tyne and Wear May Day Rally

Regional officers and members marched in the traditional May Day rally, celebrating workers' rights The march, attended by trade unionists from across the North East, was led to Grey's Monument by the RMT Fishburn band. At the Monument, Dave King, National Executive member and branch secretary of Newcastle Rail & Catering, spoke passionately about the need to continue striking in the face of adversity from the Tory government.
