Quick Hits • The Robert Morris University men’s basketball team concludes play in the Battle 4 Atlantis Thursday with a neutral site contest against the University of Louisiana at Monroe in a Noon tip at McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, Tenn. • The Colonials are 1-3 on their five-game road trip away from the Charles L. Sewall Center, including 0-3 in the Battle 4 Atlantis after dropping a 61-46 decision @ Chattanooga (11/26/14). Senior guard Lucky Jones was the only player from RMU to reach double figures against the Mocs, scoring 11 points while grabbing three rebounds. • Junior guard Rodney Pryor paced RMU with 16 points off the bench in an 80-66 decision @ Georgetown (11/22/14), while senior forward Lucky Jones contributed 13 points and nine rebounds. • Robert Morris notched its first win of the 2014-15 campaign with a 68-61 victory @ Bradley (11/19/14) as junior guard Rodney Pryor scored a game-high 26 points off the bench to lead the Colonials. Pryor, who leads RMU in scoring at 13.0 points per game, shot 7-for-8 from the field against the Braves, including 6-for-7 from beyond the arc, and also finished 6-for-6 at the free-throw line. • Robert Morris opened its five-game road swing as well as the Battle 4 Atlantis with a 103-59 loss @ No. 6 North Carolina (11/16/14). • Freshman guard Marcquise Reed came off the bench to score a game-high 24 points @ North Carolina (11/16/14), hitting 10 of his 15 shots from the field while going 3-for-4 at the free-throw line. • Junior guard Rodney Pryor was selected as the Choice Hotels Northeast Conference Player of the Week (11/24/14), while freshman guard Marcquise Reed was named the Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week (11/17/14). • Led by fifth-year head coach Andrew Toole, the Colonials return three starters and six letterwinners from a 2013-14 squad that finished with an overall record of 22-14 (.611), RMU’s ninth straight winning season. • Robert Morris claimed its 11th Northeast Conference regular-season championship in 2013-14 thanks to a mark of 14-2 (.875) in league play and despite falling in the title game of the 2014 NEC Tournament appeared in the postseason for the sixth time in the last seven years with an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). • The Colonials were picked third in the 2014 NEC Preseason Coaches Poll, the ninth consecutive year RMU has been selected to finish in the top three in the league. • Senior forward Lucky Jones, named to the 2014 Preseason All-NEC Team, is RMU’s active leading scorer and rebounder with career totals of 1,247 points and 688 rebounds. He ranks fourth all-time at Robert Morris in career rebounds and is 64 caroms shy of becoming the program’s all-time leading rebounder.

Head Coach Andrew Toole Fifth Season • Penn, 2003 • @AndyToole When it came time for Robert Morris University Director of Athletics Craig Coleman, M.D., to name a new head coach for the men’s basketball program, he didn’t have to look far. Andrew Toole was introduced as the eighth head coach in the 39-year Division I history at a press conference at the Charles L. Sewall Center May 11, 2010, and the 2014-15 campaign marks his fifth season as head coach of the Colonials. Toole signed a three-year contract extension at Robert Morris May 3, 2013, meaning he will lead the Colonials through the 2017-18 campaign. In four seasons under Toole’s tutelage, the Colonials have posted an overall record of 91-54 (.628), including a mark of 53-17 (.757) against Northeast Conference opponents. In 2013-14, Toole led Robert Morris to an overall record of 22-14 (.611) and its second consecutive NEC regular-season championship and 11th overall with a 14-2 (.875) league mark. RMU appeared in the postseason for the sixth time in the last seven years, earning a spot in the 2014 National Invitation Tournament (NIT). The Colonials advanced to the second round of the NIT for the second straight year thanks to an 89-78 victory @ St. John’s, the program’s first win in school history against a Big East foe. In 2012-13, Toole led RMU to an overall record of 24-11 (.686), including a ledger of 14-4 (.778) against league foes to claim its 10th NEC regularseason title. RMU earned a spot in the 2013 National Invitation Tournament (NIT), advancing to the second round thanks to a 59-57 victory over Kentucky in front of 3,444 fans at the Charles L. Sewall Center, the largest crowd in school history. In both 2009 and 2010, RMU earned automatic berths to the NCAA Tournament thanks to winning its sixth and seventh NEC Tournament championships, respectively. In the 2009 NCAA Tournament, the Colonials fell to eventual national runner-up Michigan State, 77-62, in the first round at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. In the 2010 NCAA Tournament, Robert Morris nearly upset No. 2 seed Villanova in the first round at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I., before falling, 73-70, in overtime. Prior to coming to Robert Morris in 2007, Toole spent the 2006-07 season as an assistant at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. Toole was a four-year starter at the Division I level, playing for Elon University (1998-2000) before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania (2000-03). Over his four-year career at Elon and Penn, Toole averaged 12.3 points per contest, finishing with 1,341 points in 109 games. Toole married the former Brooke Kelly June 3, 2011, and the couple resides in the Pittsburgh, Pa., suburb of Mt. Lebanon with their two sons, Ryan and Colin.
