Bryant (5-5 / 3-2) @ Robert Morris (3-7 / 1-4) Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at Noon Joe Walton Stadium (3,000) - Moon Township, Pa.

Radio: ESPN 970 AM (Chris Shovlin - play-by-play & Brian Cleary - color) Audio on the internet at: www.970espn.com / Live Video: www.necfrontrow.com Top Story - The Robert Morris University football team returns home this Saturday, Nov. 21, as it hosts Bryant in Northeast Conference (NEC) action at Noon at Joe Walton Stadium in each team’s season finale. RMU fell behind early and was unable to catch up last week at Saint Francis while Bryant, the 2015 NEC preseason favorite, dropped its home finale a week ago to Sacred Heart. A number of noteworthy marks are in reach Saturday for individual Colonials and the team as a whole. Redshirt freshman Kyle Buss needs five catches to become just the third Colonial ever to reach 50 in a season. Furthermore, with 89 receiving yards, Buss would move into third in single-season program history in that category. With a big day, the Colonial defense could top RMU single-season records in tackles for loss and/or sacks. It needs 10.0 TFL and 5.0 sacks to break each of those marks. Forrest Mason needs 1.5 sacks to move into sole possession of third place all-time at RMU entering his final game. As is the custom, Robert Morris will take a moment to honor each of its seniors, 11 total, in a brief ceremony prior to kickoff. Quick Stat of the Afternoon - Five of Robert Morris' projected starters will be playing their final collegiate games Saturday. Linebackers Mike Stojkovic and Jake Tkach have anchored the center of the Colonial defense for the past two seasons. Stojkovic owns 184 stops as a Colonial, including 21.0 tackles for loss, while his classmate has collected 172 career hits, including 14.0 tackles for loss. Opposing coaches certainly won’t be sad to see defensive end Forrest Mason play his last game as he has amassed 144 tackles on the line, including 23.5 tackles for loss and 16.0 sacks. On the other side of the ball, center Nick Faraci and left tackle Max Robertson enter Saturday having combined for 83 starts in their careers. Other Colonial seniors being honored Saturday include Kenny Davis (272 all-purpose yards), Warren Fields (543 kick return yards), Corey Garry (1 rushing TD) and Sean Gavin (439 receiving yards). Saturday's Opponent - Bryant is the current conference foe that RMU has played the least with the Bulldogs joining the league in 2009. The Bulldogs have had the Colonials’ number, winning six of the first seven games in the series. However, RMU did come away victorious the last time these teams met in Pennsylvania as it claimed a 24-3 decision behind three touchdown catches by Duane Mitchell and two interceptions from Antwan Eddie. Four of RMU’s past five losses to Bryant have been one-possession games. For more information on the all-time series against Bryant, including the last game recap, please see page four of today’s game notes. On This Date (Nov. 21) in Robert Morris Football History - Robert Morris has competed on two prior occasions on this date, claiming one victory and one defeat. Unlike this week, both of those matchups were road games. The most recent time RMU played on this date came in its 2009 season finale against Monmouth. The Colonials took a lead with a first quarter rushing TD, and that proved to be the only score of the first half. After a RMU field goal in the third, Jeff Sinclair (2009-12) threw for two scores in a span of 73 seconds in the fourth quarter. The Hawks did not score a touchdown until more than 55 minutes had elapsed, and the guests came away with a 23-9 victory. RMU held Monmouth to 192 total yards of offense and forced four turnovers, including three interceptions. Sinclair was 13-of-17 passing while his defense set a single-game program record by tallying 13 pass breakups. Chris Roberts (2008-10) contributed 2.0 sacks and a pass breakup while Rolf Bathold (2007-10) led the team with three pass breakups.

2015 Robert Morris Football Game Notes vs. Bryant (11/21/15) - Page 3

Head Coach John Banaszak Second Season - Eastern Michigan ’75 John Banaszak became the second head football coach in Robert Morris University history in December 2013. He served as an assistant coach and assistant head coach for the Colonials for 11 consecutive years prior to taking over the top spot. Banaszak was selected as Coach-In-Waiting in January 2012, allowing for a simple transition following the 2013 campaign. At the end of the 2013 season, he was named as the Assistant Coach of the Year at the FCS level as selected by the American Football Coaches Association. He was one of five coaches selected for dedication to their teams and communities. He was the first RMU coach, as well as the first from the NEC, to claim this honor. The 2013 season was Banaszak's sixth and final as assistant head coach for Robert Morris. Among his numerous duties with the program before becoming head coach, he was responsible for tutoring the defensive line and the special teams unit. Under Banaszak's guidance in 2013, Robert Morris led the NEC in net punting, punt return defense and punt return average. Banaszak was also a key component in instructing a RMU defense that finished second in the NEC in total defense within league play in 2013. Robert Morris finished its regular season ranked among the top 25 nationally in at least seven defensive categories including total defense. With Banaszak's assistance, RMU has led the NEC in total defense four times in the past 11 years and ranked among the top four nine times in the past 12 seasons. Banaszak was a key component to a 2010 defense that led the NEC in total defense as the Colonials claimed the NEC's inaugural berth in the FCS Playoffs. In 2006, he helped tutor an RMU defense that led I-AA in total defense, allowing an average of just 228.36 yards per game. 10 of the 13 players in school history to earn All-NEC recognition on the defensive line have come under the tutelage of Banaszak, including Nolan Nearhoof (200912), who was named the 2012 NEC Defensive Player of the Year after breaking both the school and league records for career sacks. Nearhoof would go on to earn AllAmerica honors, becoming the third Colonial defensive lineman to claim an AllAmerica nod under Banaszak in a seven-year span. As much as Banaszak's presence has been felt on the defensive side of the ball, the same can be said on special teams. He helped five distinct Colonials win an award at return specialist within the span of one decade. A graduate of Eastern Michigan, Banaszak signed as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers prior to the 1975 season and was one of only three rookies to make the defending Super Bowl champion team out of training camp. Primarily a special teams player on Pittsburgh's Super Bowl X championship team, Banaszak started five games the following season and then started at both right end and inside tackle in 1977 before suffering a knee injury that forced him to the injured reserve list. Between 1978 and 1980, Banaszak started 45 regular-season games at defensive end as the Steelers won back-to-back Super Bowls. In Super Bowl XIII, Banaszak recorded six tackles, including a pair of sacks, and a fumble recovery in a 35-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys, which garnered him Defensive Player of the Game honors. The following year, Banaszak helped the Steelers to a 31-19 victory over the Rams.

Bryant Series Quick Outs RMU's tilt against Bryant in 2010 marked the first time the program played a game as a ranked team, as the Colonials entered the game #25 in the Nov. 8, 2010, NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) rankings according to The Sports Network … Last year’s game marked the first time that Bryant played Robert Morris with the Bulldogs being nationally ranked … Robert Morris has had a lead over Bryant in four of their past five losses to the Bulldogs, including leading in the second half three of those times … Robert Morris has had a higher red zone conversion percentage in six of the seven previous meetings, while the teams had an equal percentage in the other game ... This year's meeting will be the first time that RMU has played the Bulldogs in its home finale although the Colonials did close the 2010 regular season at Bryant. Last RMU Game vs. Bryant Game #8 #25 Bryant 42, Robert Morris 9 October 25, 2014 / Smithfield, R.I. Bulldog Stadium (Attendance: 4,890) - Robert Morris was unable to carry over sufficient momentum from last week's thrilling victory as nationally ranked Bryant claimed a 42-9 home victory on a warm Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Andy Smigiera led the Colonials with a career-high 10 tackles and tallied an interception, his third in the month of October. True freshman Ryan Richards Jr. notched a season-best seven stops and added his firstcareer interception. Bryant took advantage of a short field on several occasions as the Bulldogs only had one scoring drive longer than 55 yards in the game. After RMU was stopped short on fourth down on the game's first possession, the hosts used the resulting momentum to drive for an opening touchdown. Despite picking up first downs on each of its next three drives, Robert Morris was forced to punt on its remaining drives of the first half. Bryant would find the end zone on two more drives in the opening half after the second one was extended with a controversial roughing-the-passer penalty. Smigiera intercepted Bryant on its final drive of the half. RMU stopped Bryant on downs near midfield to open the third quarter but would then commit its first turnover of the day, setting up a Bulldog scoring drive. Both teams lined up in punt formation on their next drive—while RMU booted the ball away, Bryant had issues with the snap and was forced into giving up a safety. RMU used a great play on special teams to extend its next drive as junior Corey Garry took a direct snap in punt formation and rumbled 30 yards, a career-long rush, to convert on fourth down. Later in the drive, Derik Abbott hit Duane Mitchell with a 14-yard touchdown as the senior made a nice juke move to evade a defender after the catch. The Colonials continued to gain momentum on the next drive as Richards Jr. picked off a pass with Bryant in the red zone. RMU then drove to midfield before a turnover halted the visitors' rally attempt. The Colonials then forced a turnover on downs after Bryant had reached the red zone, but RMU was unable to muster enough offense to get back into the game. RMU held Bryant under a 50% completion mark and grabbed two interceptions after the Bulldogs entered the game having thrown only two all season. Mitchell caught a pass for the 30th consecutive game against the Bulldogs, tying the school record. Senior Tony LaMancusa tied his career-long punt with a 63-yard boot in the third quarter. Last Time Out - Robert Morris fell behind early and never recovered as it dropped a 21-0 affair at Saint Francis in its road finale … The Colonials did not allow a sack to a Saint Francis team that came into the game among the top 20 in that category at the FCS level … RMU limited the hosts to just 116 passing yards, the Red Flash’s second-lowest output of 2015 … Redshirt junior cornerback Marcelis Branch and junior weak safety Andy Smigiera each tallied an interception, the fifth and sixth of their career, respectively … Sophomore cornerback Drew Allen and Smigiera tied for the team lead with eight tackles … Redshirt senior captain Mike Stojkovic tallied 2.0 tackles for loss. Just For Kicks - RMU has done well at covering its kickoffs thus far in 2015. Junior Connor Shennan has tallied 17 touchbacks on 32 attempts, the highest percentage in the NEC. However, even when his kicks have not resulted in touchbacks, RMU is holding its opponents to just 14.4 yards per return, the best mark in the FCS. Going the Other Way - The Robert Morris defense has excelled at turning its opponents over on downs when they go for it on fourth down. Each of the past five fourth-down attempts by a RMU opponent has failed. For the season, Colonial foes have been successful only 30.8% (4-for-13) of the time on fourth down. That would be the best such mark by a RMU team in a season since 2006. The Right Gear - Safety Andy Smigiera has demonstrated an ability to knock down the football this year, be it on special teams or defense. The junior is tied for second in the league, and among the top 40 in the FCS, in passes defended (1.10 per game). He has notched a pass breakup or an interception in eight of 10 games this season. Additionally, he has blocked two kicks while notching 52 total tackles on the year. Limiting Factor - The last home game was the third time in five games overall that the Colonial defense kept the opposition under 300 yards of total offense as ETSU compiled only 236. RMU held the Bucs without a touchdown and allowed one scoring drive over 30 yards. The Colonials also limited the Bucs to a season-low 2.0 yards per carry. Stock Watch - Mike Stojkovic was named Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this year Oct. 5. He led RMU with 11 stops in its win at Wagner and had earned his first honor after helping limit nationally ranked Youngstown State Sept. 12, as he posted 11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble against the Penguins. He has hit double digits in stops in six of 10 games this season and totaled 9.5 TFL. Stojkovic is currently second in the league in tackles per game (8.4). Dante's Peak - True freshman Dante Satcher claimed Special Teams Player of the Week honors from the NEC Oct. 12 after returning a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown against Sacred Heart. It was the fourth kickoff return for a touchdown in program history, but it was the longest one of the quartet. It also stands as the second-longest touchdown of any type in RMU history and the longest since 1996. With his award, RMU became the first school in league history to win the special teams honor in four straight releases. Break It Up - The median completion percentage across the FCS in 2014 was 57.6%. Robert Morris has allowed only four of its past 28 opponents to reach that mark. In fact, nine times in this stretch, the Colonials have held their opponent under a 45% rate. This is the third consecutive season in which RMU had a stretch where it held its opponent at a 50% completion mark or below in three straight games. Keep It in Front - Robert Morris has performed well in a couple of traditional passing defense metrics thus far in 2015. One of the main reasons for this is due to the fact that the Colonials are only allowing 11.4 yards per opponent completion (1,727 yards on 151 completions). If RMU finishes the season with such a figure, it will mark just the second time in program history RMU has held its foes under 11.5 yards/completion. Start Me Up - Nick Faraci enters Saturday's game with the most consecutive starting assignments of all active Colonials as he has served as the center for 43 straight games. On defense, Marcelis Branch has the most total starts among active Colonials with 30, but Andy Smigiera and Mike Stojkovic are tied for the longest active streak (21).

2015 Robert Morris Football Game Notes vs. Bryant (11/21/15) - Page 7 Third Degree - Robert Morris finished the 2013 campaign ranked among the top 25 in the FCS in third down defense, allowing opponents to convert at a .349 clip. The Colonials managed to improve that figure to .331 in 2014 although that placed them one spot outside the top 25. RMU has raised its game to a new level so far this season as it ranks among the top 15 nationally. For the season, RMU’s foes are 52-for-167 (.311) on third down, as the Colonials lead the league in third down defense. Special Special Teams - Warren Robinson was named the NEC’s Special Teams Player of the Week Sept. 21. The rookie returned three punts for 89 yards Sept. 19, including a 66-yard return for a touchdown. It marked only the fourth punt return for a TD in RMU history, but it was the first ever by a freshman. In fact, he is one of only two true freshmen among the 123 FCS programs to return a (non-blocked) punt for a touchdown in 2015. Robinson’s 66-yard scamper was the second longest punt return in RMU history. He leads the NEC and ranks among the top 10 in the FCS in punt return average (14.9). At a Loss - Robert Morris enters its 2015 season finale with 79 tackles for loss on the season. RMU is 10 TFL away from breaking the program single-season record. Reaching that figure might not be as unlikely as it seems as the Colonials have hit double digits in this category three times in the past six games. Making the Grade - Redshirt senior offensive lineman Nick Faraci and junior defensive back Andy Smigiera were both named Academic All-District First Team this month. As a result of their first-team selections, both Colonials advanced to the Academic AllAmerica ballot. This is the third straight year that Faraci has earned this honor and the first such award for Smigiera, as they continued the trend of academic successes in the football program. These two accolades gave the Colonial program at least one Academic All-District honoree in each of the past 13 seasons, a span in which Robert Morris has taken home 25 overall selections. To put that in perspective, no other NEC school has an active streak of football Academic All-District selections longer than four years. Not Halfway Home – Entering the 2015 season, the team trailing at the half had won only 13.5% of games all-time in Robert Morris history. However, the team losing at the break in RMU’s games this season has a respectable 5-4 record. Times Two - One of the mainstays that returned to the RMU defense in 2015 is redshirt senior Forrest Mason. Mason earned his second straight All-NEC honor in 2014, making him just one of five Colonials ever to claim multiple all-league honors as a defensive lineman. What made that accolade even more impressive is that the league’s coaches voted him to the team despite the fact that he was only able to appear in seven games. Mason is second in the NEC in tackles/game among defensive linemen (5.7) and is tied for the league lead in sacks (0.65). He returned his first career INT for a TD Sept. 19. They'll Be Back - One interesting way to examine the state of the Colonial roster is to look at the number of players that started the season opener who will be finished with their careers after this season. Of RMU’s 22 offensive and defensive starters from its opener, only five Colonials—two on offense, three on defense—will have used all of their NCAA eligibility when the 2015 campaign is completed. Wrap Him Up – One game after Jake Tkach posted a career-best 16 tackles, Gerald Ferguson tallied 15 against Duquesne Oct. 24. It marked the first time since 2009 that multiple Colonials contributed 15+ tackle efforts in one season. It was the first time since 2007 that two Colonials achieved the feat in back-to-back games within a season. The Nurse Will See You - RMU's starting center, redshirt senior Nick Faraci, became the fifth Colonial in school history, and the first on the offensive side of the ball, to earn a prestigious Academic All-America award this past December. However, that may not even be his most impressive feat. Faraci graduated from RMU in May with the highest grade point average in his nursing class. He subsequently passed his nursing board exams in the summer to earn his registered nurse (RN) license. Faraci, who owns a 3.94 cumulative GPA, worked in four area hospitals as part of his clinical rotations over the past few years.

No Passing Zone - The Robert Morris defense did well in keeping opposing offenses from moving the ball through the air near the end zone last year. The Colonials grabbed eight interceptions in 2014 within 20 yards of the end zone they were defending. RMU has tallied seven such picks in the first 10 games of 2015, giving it 15 grabs inside its own 20 in its past 21 games. Eight Colonials have contributed to that mark with Andy Smigiera leading the way with six. Barr None - True freshman Mathew Barr was the second straight Colonial to be named Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week Nov. 9. Barr was efficient in leading RMU to a win over East Tennessee State. He completed a season-high 20 passes on just 31 attempts (64.5%) while throwing for a season-best 225 yards. He tossed two touchdown passes without throwing an interception. Barr threw an 84-yard bomb for the go-ahead TD in the fourth quarter. D-Fence - The Robert Morris defense limited two-time defending champion Sacred Heart Oct. 10. RMU, which allowed only one scoring drive over 45 yards, kept the Pioneers under 300 yards of offense, which has happened only twice in SHU’s past 26 games. The Colonials also held SHU to a season-low 1.6 yards per carry and 70 overall rushing yards. That is the Pioneers’ second-lowest rushing total in their past 37 games. The Full Length - The 84-yard touchdown pass caught by Kyle Buss in the last home game stands as the fourth-longest in RMU history and the longest ever in a non-conference contest. It also gave RMU two 70+ yard touchdowns in a season for the first time in 10 years. Behind Enemy Lines - Robert Morris tallied 8.0 sacks Oct. 3 at Wagner, the most by a Colonial team in nine years. In their other nine games this year, the Seahawks have allowed only 23 total sacks. That effort helped RMU hold Wagner to 170 yards of total offense, the Seahawks' lowest such output in their past 11 games against FCS foes. It marked the first time RMU held an opponent to a single-digit point total on the road since September 2010, also at Wagner. Ground Game - Robert Morris posted a sizeable advantage in rushing yards Sept. 26 at No. 6 South Dakota State (228-125). This was due in large part to the Colonials averaging 6.0 yards per carry compared to 3.5 for the Jackrabbits. It marked the 14th time in program history, but just the fourth since 2000, in which a Colonial team averaged at least 6.0 yards per carry. That effort helped RMU rush for 200+ yards in back-to-back games for the first time since 2010.

2015 Robert Morris Football Game Notes vs. Bryant (11/21/15) - Page 9 The Founding Father - The one constant in the first two decades of Colonial football was former head coach Joe Walton. Walton, the former NFL tight end and head coach of the New York Jets, started the program from scratch, completing everything from hiring assistants to purchasing equipment. He was named NEC Coach of the Year four times in 18 seasons and guided RMU to a pair of NCAA I-AA mid-major national crowns during his time on the sidelines. Walton, currently a special assistant to the athletic director at Robert Morris, was inducted into the RMU Athletic Hall of Fame in November 2013. Get To The Chopper - A quick glance at RMU’s record when broken down proves how important it is the Colonials get off to a good start in contests. When Robert Morris is leading at halftime, the program owns an all-time record of 90-16 (.849). When trailing at the break, Robert Morris owns a mark of 15-83-1 (.157). Even going into halftime tied is beneficial, as the Colonials own an overall record of 14-10 (.583) in such games. The Magic Mark - Since the Colonials began play in 1994, there have been 77 games in which Robert Morris has scored 30 or more points. In those contests RMU boasts a record of 72-5 (.935), including a record of 43-5 (.896) in games in which the team scores between 30 and 39 points. In games in which the Colonials score 40 or more points, RMU is a perfect 29-0. RMU Football Historical Tidbits - The inaugural running back at Robert Morris, the late Tim Hall (1994-95), rushed for 2,908 yards in his two seasons as a Colonial. Hall still owns the FCS season and career records for yards per carry, with his season record of 8.7 yards per carry set in 1994 and his twoyear career record of 7.4 established in 1994 and 1995 ... Hall also ranks fourth all-time in the FCS in both rushing yards per game (153.1) and allpurpose yards per game (194.8) ... Former Colonial linebacker James Noel (2002-05) ranks sixth in the FCS record book for career tackles per game (10.7), while his career tackle total of 437 takedowns ranks 15th all-time ... Former linebacker and assistant coach Alex DiMichele (2008-10) averaged 10 tackles per game over his three years in a Robert Morris uniform, which ranks 13th all-time in the FCS record book ... Robert Morris has topped the nation in passing defense twice in the past 16 years, based on passing efficiency defense rating. The Colonials topped the charts in 1999 (with a 80.80 rating) as well as in 2006 (with a 88.70 rating). Did You Know? - Robert Morris owns the all-time FCS record for the most consecutive quarters while holding an opponent scoreless. During the 1996 season, the Colonials went 15 straight quarters without allowing a single point. In fact, the record-setting streak occurred at the beginning of the season. RMU posted three straight shutouts -- 20-0 against Mercyhurst (9/7), 38-0 against Butler (9/14) and 7-0 against Towson State (9/21) -- to open the campaign and then held Central Connecticut State (9/28) scoreless for the first three quarters before finally allowing a point for the first time all season. In all, Robert Morris went 234:04 before allowing a point in 1996. RMU went 9-2 (.818) in 1996, claiming a share of the NEC championship, and conceded just 12.9 points per game. Robert Morris Captains Head coach John Banaszak announced after the team's final scrimmage that four Colonials will serve as captains in the 2015 season.

OFFENSE Redshirt senior Nick Faraci and senior Max Robertson are the team’s captains on offense. Faraci has started each of RMU’s past 43 games at center and was selected as an Academic All-American in 2014. Robertson started 31 games at left guard over the past three seasons, but he was shifted down a spot to left tackle prior to the 2015 season. DEFENSE Redshirt seniors Forrest Mason and Mike Stojkovic are the team’s captains on defense. Mason is a two-time AllNortheast Conference honoree and is one of just five defensive lineman in RMU history to earn multiple allleague honors. He owns 144 tackles and 16.0 sacks in his career. He became the first Colonial defensive lineman to be named NEC Defensive Player of the Week in over 15 years last October. Stojkovic, who served as a captain in the latter half of the 2014 season, was ranked among the top five in the league in tackles per game last year and totaled 82 stops. He owns 184 tackles and 21.0 tackles for loss in a Colonial uniform. The Texas native began his collegiate career at FBS institution North Texas.

Robert Morris On The Airwaves Gameday Colonial football games are heard live on ESPN Radio AM-970 Pittsburgh, the flagship station of Robert Morris University athletics. ESPN 970 and RMU reached a threeyear agreement in the summer of 2013 to broadcast football, men’s basketball and men’s hockey games. The Voice of the Colonials, Chris Shovlin, and color analyst Brian Cleary call the football action. RMU Assistant Media Relations Director Spencer Kowitz joins Shovlin as color analyst for select Colonial road games. "The John Banaszak Show" is on 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Games can also be heard on the station’s website, www.970espn. com, as well as on iHeartRadio. RMU home and league games can generally be seen live for free on NEC Front Row, the conference’s online digital network. The league has added multiple upgrades in recent years, including the ability to transmit live events in HD as well as providing the ability for the viewer to use a DVR-style, in-game real-time rewind feature. Robert Morris also had four games that aired on ESPN3 in 2015: 9/12 @ Youngstown State, 9/26 @ South Dakota State, 10/10 vs. Sacred Heart and 10/31 @ Central Connecticut State. Weekly Segments Coach Banaszak sits down for a weekly chat with playby-play voice Chris Shovlin most Mondays at the All Star Sports Bar & Grill in either Robinson or Canonsburg. Their discussion is aired live on ESPN 970 from 8-9 p.m. Coach Banaszak also has a weekly segment on TribLIVE Radio that generally can be heard on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. A Colonial student-athlete is sometimes featured on ESPN 970 during a weekday afternoon.

Since Robert Morris played its first season in 1994, three former Colonials have appeared in a game in the National Football League (NFL), the most among current NEC members in this span as of August 2015. Many players have “rewritten” record books at various schools. At Robert Morris, however, Tim Hall wrote the record book. Hall rushed for 2,908 yards on 393 carries in his two seasons in a Colonial uniform and was named an All-American by the Associated Press in 1995. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round (183rd player overall) in the 1996 NFL Draft. In 1997, he led the Raiders in yards per carry average with 5.2 and was second in rushing yards to Napolean Kaufman. On Sept. 30, 1998, Hall was shot and killed in Kansas City at age 24. Hank Fraley, who played on the offensive line for Robert Morris from 1996-1999, carved out a niche for himself in the NFL for over a decade. Fraley was a three-time Mid-Major All-American during his years at RMU before he was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers to a free-agent contract in April 2000. Fraley was later claimed by the Eagles and started at center for Philadelphia for the entire 2001 season, helping the team to the 2002 NFC Championship game. For four straight seasons with Fraley starting at center from 2002-05, the Eagles appeared in the NFC Championship game. In 2005, Fraley became the first RMU alum to appear in the Super Bowl when he started at center against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX. Former RMU defensive back Robb Butler played for the San Diego Chargers during the 2004 season and was featured in special teams situations, including returning kickoffs.
