DINING SERVICES 2016–17 RMU.EDU/DININGSERVICES
Robert Morris University understands that dining is an integral part of the university experience. That’s why we offer our students a number of delicious and nutritious dining options. The RMU Dining Services meal plan options focus on wellness and are designed to fit the busy lifestyle of today’s students. It all starts in the PNC Colonial Cafe, where you’ll find meals made with only the freshest and finest ingredients, with daily specials prepared from scratch by our experienced chefs.
BECAUSE GOOD FOOD SHOULD BE GOOD FOR YOU TOO.
For those in a hurry, RoMo’s Cafe offers an inviting, casual dining option. Here students can enjoy freshly made on the go sandwiches, salads, and wraps, in addition to a selection of savory coffees and teas, hot evening specials, and a full line of convenience items.
Under our FarmSource® program, with assistance from organizations like Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, we are able to enhance the freshness and quality of our product offerings without compromising our commitment to food safety, while supporting the local agricultural community. We utilize only suppliers and growers who follow the high standards set forth by regulatory agencies like the FDA, the Pennsylvania State Department of Agriculture and local health departments.
The conveniently located Hale Cafe offers delicious StarbucksTM coffees, specialty espresso drinks and Frappuccinos® along with a variety of grab n’go selections. After skating, shooting the puck, or hitting a bucket of balls, grab a bite at the Island Sports Center Bistro, where you’ll find fresh, made to order salads and sandwiches, delicious burgers, open hearth baked pizzas along with a selection of savory StarbucksTM cappuccinos and lattes.
RMU Dining Services’ Food Gold Standards ensure that we provide only the freshest and most nutritious meals. • Fresh vegetables daily • USDA Choice meats or above • Fresh fruits available daily • Foods prepared from scratch • No microwave cooking
