ZEGEN FIVE TRADERS INC.

The task for this project was to create a logo identity for a startup local trading business named “ZEGEN FIVE TRADERS INC.”

I designed a 2 - five sided arrow facing towards each other that represent the flow of exchange. The arrow’s positive and negative shape shows the absolute and equal value of trade.

Started out doodling irregular geometric shapes for fun. Turned to a conceptual shirt design for a non-existing brand.

HOW TO MAKE CAFFEINE

I’m a coffee lover. This inspired me to draw small patterns that are related to the art of brewing coffee. This was a fun excercise project. The patterns are related to the art of brewing hand crafted coffee. I applied these patterns to make a conceptual brand for a coffee shop. I downloaded mockups and applied the patterns to it. From coffee brewing, to the packaging design & logo.

MANILA WATER TRADEBOOTH

This was an intern work for a water company based in the Philippines for their Asia Pacific Subsidiary. The new booth design was used at the Water Summmit 2015 in Yangon, Myanmar. The task here was to create a new booth for the company that would entice people to look around and actually roam inside the booth. Given space was 3m x 9m.


TOP VIEW

This part of the booth can be viewed at the point of entrance. From this side; the brand slogans of the company can be seen from this angle; placed on three different panels.

The spot provided for the booth was actually located beside (right) the entrance by the wall. The wall is a huge disadvantage for the booth since 1 side would be closed. The booth design was basically an interpretation of a water connection system. The colors and messages used was based from the company’s brand identity. Since the booth had a closed part disadvantage, I designed the booth to be “gallery”-like to give viewers an inviting presence where they can roam and walk inside. The booth has 3 flat screen LCD’s at 3 different parts of the booth. Inside pannels of the booth The booth won the “Most Innovative Booth Design” for the event.


BACHELOR’S THESIS | PACKAGE DESIGN • BRANDING • ADVERTISING

ANTONIO PUEO BARISTA SERIES


This project is my Bachelor’s Degree Thesis. I was tasked to create a re-branding campaign through package design from a chosen local brand. The redesigned packaging will be used to create collaterals and promotional materials for its conceptual advertising campaign. Antonion Pueo is a local brand that originally started to manufacture “cacao tableas” or chocolate tablets. A few years back they launched a series of Instant Iced coffee mix that would entice the market to make their own “coffee shop specialty drinks” made at home. Unfortunately; early 2014,the product was discontinued while I was in the progress of my thesis research but still I chose to continue it. In this study, we were required to create an ad campaign as well as provide a Brand & Package Design Manual; from the logo, colors used, dieline, secondary and primary packaging.


The logo of Antonio Pueo was used together with a new typeface of the Barista Series to give consumers a brand recognition of the corporate logo.

The Better Experience!

“The Better Experience” refers to the packaging’s “new experience” and better look as well as implying the products characteristics as a DIY type of drink where you experience the product as you prepare it.

These photos were taken on the mountains of Mt. Tinio, Papaya, Nueva Ecija . The

school is in a remote part of the mountain where children would usually hike steep mountain trails for

atleast 3 hours.

Documentation photos taken from a volunteer work at the United Nations Volunteer(UNV) together with a mountaineering charity group. This was part of the journey from my IPA 2015 entries.
