A Science & Technology Pneumatics Add-on Set for 10 to 15-year olds
The brick set: As an addition to the Science & Technology Base Set, Pneumatics Add-on Set provides an additional four main pneumatics models, five principle models, 383 LEGO elements in total, and full-colour building instructions. The Add-on Set is designed to fit into the bottom of the sturdy Base Set storage box. The box has sorting trays and is ideal for stacking or sliding into shelving solutions.
Curriculum targets LEGO® Education School solutions are designed to meet a range of curriculum targets specifically within the fields of science, technology, engineering, and maths. Working as technical investigators, students predict, test, record and present their findings. In this way, they exercise and develop scientific inquiry skills, while experiencing physical science and technology first hand.
A complete package The Pneumatics Add-on Set (9641) is part of a complete package. Combining the set with the Science and Technology Base Set (9632) and Add-on Activity Pack (2009641) allows you to carry out engaging cross-curricular activities.
The activity pack: The Add-on Activity Pack provides four main activities, two problem-solving tasks as well as 14 principle model activities – all delivered on a CD-ROM. Video clips introduce the activities by showing real-life machines in use that are similar to the LEGO models, thus providing insight into their purpose and function. Extensive teacher’s notes, student worksheets, and glossary included.
