CITY

The CITY pendant lamps are made from a series of curved birch plywood ribs secured to perforated discs which allow light to subtly filter through. A great hanging light that can cast hard shadows or a warm, soft glow depending on the bulb used.

The PIRUL name and design comes from a very important tree that is representative and the namesake of the Pirwi brand. The pirul tree is not popular for manufacturing, however it has other uses: it prevents erosion, it has antiseptic properties, it’s pest resistant, and it tolerates drought. This tree is an example of how to be resilient in the face of adversity and perhaps more importantly, how to be responsible with the earth.

The ESPEJOS collection consists of three uniquely shaped mirrors; a pill, a semicircle, and an arch. Each has a plywood backing and a small foot which acts as a stand. These small mirrors are meant to add a little contemporary character to a space. They can be placed on shelves, desks, credenzas, or any other surface as a miniature accent piece.
