Your Thought's and Prayers are Needed

Last week, the editor and publisher of the University City Review and Philadelphia Free Press, Bob Christian, came down with a very bad case of the corona virus, and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of Jefferson Hospital. He is receiving excellent and compassionate care and is taking advantage of all the options of medicine and resources available to him to recover from the viral infection.

As most of you know, this is such a difficult disease and each individual responds to it differently. Recovery is slow and painful. Our family has decided that, at this time, our focus has to be on Bob’s health during his recovery period. We will not be publishing for a while, but we, of course, are hopeful that we can resume sometime early on in the new year.

We want to express how grateful we are to our loyal readers over the years, as well as to our advertisers who make it possible for us to publish both digitally and in print.

Your thoughts and prayers for Bob’s recovery are much appreciated.
