OUR PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATIONS AND LINKS WITH INDUSTRY We work closely with employers to offer courses that make our graduates particularly desirable to local, national and international companies and organisations. Many of our courses are the result of close collaboration with industry, focusing on both the day-to-day and future professional needs of businesses and other organisations.

This means that our graduates learn the necessary skills and are always strongly in demand. Here is a selection of those companies and organisations we collaborate with from course development and accreditation to providing scholarships and placements.

I chose to study at RGU because I felt it was one of the universities in the UK that is strongest in the field of Business. The knowledge I have learnt from here is not only from the classroom but inpractice as well. I feel the lecturers are very helpful and approachable and have given me good advice on many things during my studies. I have enjoyed most things during my time at RGU. I like the town of Aberdeen and that I can walk to the beach when I feel bored. The people are friendly and you can talk with them when you need help. I even got a chance to cook Thai food for Scottish pals and they loved it. The nightlife here is also fabulous when I want to socialise with people (and it is another great way to make friends too). Would I recommend Scotland and RGU to other people from Thailand? ‘Aye!’ because what you will learn is not just from the course that you are studying, but also many life lessons that you couldn’t find anywhere else! (Also, I’ll tell you a little secret – there are not too many Thai people here so it’s also a great way to upgrade your English skills and to learn the Scottish accent and slang – like Aye for Yes.
