MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS MANAGEMENT

MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS MANAGEMENT According to HSE statistics, work-related stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 39% of all work-related illnesses in 2013/14. Whilst stress does not always lead to absence, it can lead to costly oversights, reduced focus, missed deadlines and a cascade of pressure to surrounding colleagues. Mindfulness Based Stress Management teaches participants to focus their attention on the present moment; to concentre on what is happening now, as opposed to thoughts of future or past events. Mindfulness training has been shown to significantly reduce stress anxiety, and distraction and increase attention to task, meaning your staff achieve more, and to a higher standard.
