FULL HIDE LACING The full hide lacings are made of cowhide from which we removed fur and excess fat. It is a very strong material that is water resistant. The full hide can be cut in narrow strip to allow “tight lacing” recommanded for dry snow or in “very tight lacing” for powdered snow. We can also cut it in large stripes to produce “heavy duty spaced lacing” well adapted for melting and wet snow.

LACIS DE PEAU COMPLÈTE Ces lacis sont fabriqués à partir d’une peau complète de vache à laquelle on a enlevé le poil et le surplus de chair. Ils sont particulièrement robustes et résistants à l’eau. La peau complète peut être coupée en fines lanières, ce qui permet de l’utiliser en « lacis serré », idéal pour une neige sèche ou en lacis «très serré» recommandé pour une neige poudreuse. On peut aussi la couper en lanière plus large pour un « lacis espacé extra-fort» s’adaptant à une neige fondante ou mouillée.
