This fall there are an abundance of great design books coming out. We’ve rounded up our top picks from our favorite Southern decorators and tastemakers. Some will surprise you with their Southern roots. Order one or two, and then carve out an afternoon to curl up on the sofa, learning more about what makes Southern style so special.

Courtesy of Artisan Books The Book: Home by Novogratz (Artisan Books) — out October 9th By: Husband and wife designing duo Cortney and Robert Novogratz Southern Roots: Cortney is from southern Georgia and Robert is from Alexandria, Virginia. The couple first met in Charlotte, North Carolina. Why We Love It: Their make-anything-work and all-in-the-family style is certainly influenced from growing up in the South. In their new book, the couple showcases several projects and reveal the budgets (surprisingly low) that they used. Look out for their collaboration with the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, and a forward by their client and fellow Georgia native, Julia Roberts.
