“A Cloe, grande città, le persone che passano per le vie non si conoscono. Al vedersi immaginano mille cose l’uno dell’altro, gli incontri che potrebbero avvenire tra loro, le conversazioni, le sorprese, le carezze, i morsi. Ma nessuno saluta nessuno, gli sguardi s’incrociano per un secondo e poi si fuggono, cercano altri sguardi, non si fermano”. Italo Calvino, Le città invisibili

1. Housing in Porta Romana, Milano Architectural Design Studio Advisor: Prof. R. Morosini A.Y. 2011 - 2012 The area of Porta Romana in Milan was a railway station, a part of system of railway for goods movement. Today this area is urban void in to the dense city, and have a strategic position and hight quality for its future transformation. The academic’s project begins with urban drawing of the entire area. The masterplan expected the construction of houses, some offices, a suburban railway station and keep the fifty percent of the area for urban park. It has been created a new ground over the railway, the connection between the ground and the city is resolved with a system of ramps. Under the new ground there are shops and the new station. Instead over a new ground there are the residential buildings. The drawing of system of residential building is an interpretation of the traditional residential’s urban blocks of Milan, and a contemporary reading of traditional Milan’s house.

2. nZeb - Zero energy building in Bergamo Thematic design studio Advisor: Prof. O. Bellini - F. Butera A.Y. 2011-2012 The aim’s of project is the construction of zero energy building in the area of railway station of Bergamo. Compositional choices of building were defined according the principles of bioclimatic. The study of shadow and the analysis of site are essential element to design the building and its interaction with the climate. This choices have allowed to reduce primary energy demand in collaboration with hight efficiency installation. Primary energy can be produced with removable system (solar panel, ground source heat pump). The design has been made with checks of compositional choice and technological solution with energy simulations in dynamics condition. The simulations have been made with Energy Plus simulation’s software.

3. Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre in Baku 3D drawing design studio Advisor: Prof. D. D’Uva A.Y. 2012 - 2013

Architect: Zaha Hadid The exercise’s aim is the search of the morphogenesis process for creation the shape. From the project’s drawings and with Rhinoceros’s instruments it has been tried to redrawing, in three dimensional, the building’s form.

4. Landscape and Housing in Rovereto Architectural design studio Advisor: Prof. Camillo Magni A.Y. 2012 - 2013 LANDSCAPE’S PROJECT The project aims to rethink the view and use of natural areas near the banks of river Leno. The project’s strategy is a land art performance. This solution reads the morphological elements (gradients, waterfalls and other element) with trunks of wood and create a rhythmic system. In the flooding’s areas elements of wood, move away from the banks and mark the areas to create a new spaces for people activity or spaces for nature.

ARCHITECTURE’S PROJECT The project’s area is situated in a particular position. It can be view only from few points of observation. The position of area is situated between mountain and Leno river, this particular position has required high attention for positioning of building’s volume. Building volume has been created from a monolith and with subtraction process, in relation with points of view. The building is in relation with nature and river, the facade’s material is local stone and it covers all the building elevation. All apartment in the building have good point of view from their windows. The building was added in nature’s contest and interacts with it.

5. Silent Rooting Master Degree Thesis Advisor: Prof. Annalisa de Curtis Co-advisor: Arch. Alessandro Raffa A.Y. 2013 - 2014 Thesis’s title: Silent Rooting: the project of new institution in Waitanyuan. The responsibility of architecture in the contemporary society of emergency The project in this area was carried out together a theoretical reflection. This search represents the synthesis of the route in this School of Architecture and starts from a personal reflection on the conditions of the contemporary architecture, on the role of the architect today and on the condition of human space user. This search would also be the theoretical basis by which to address the entry in the working world. The project involved the entire rethinking offices the British concession in Waitanyuan area, in Shanghai. It has redesigned the public land that is able to restore life and to order to the area and along the river. Also they have been designed and established new institutions for the city as a museum of painting and calligraphy, a library, the urban center and finally a new auditorium for the city. The auditorium together with schools of dance and music is able to revive the existing Capitol Theatre. Fundamental issue to be solved was not only the completion of urban voids, but also the ability to reactivate the existing buildings.
