About me..

Me llamo Roberto Pellitero, tengo 25 años y soy un estudiante de tercero de Grado en Conservación y Restauración en la especialidad de Escultura en la Escuela de Arte de Valladolid, España. En mi anterior etapa académica obtuve el título de estudios superiores en Conservación y Restauración en la especialidad de Pintura en la Escuela de Arte de León ubicada también en España. Hoy en día sigo ampliando mis estudios en este campo con la intención de obtener la doble titulación y así conseguir una mejor preparación y poder abarcar mas campos para mi futura carrera profesional.

I am called Roberto Pellitero, I am 25 years old and I am a student of third party of Degree in Conservation and Restoration in the speciality of In the School of Art of Valladolid, Spain. In my previous academic stage I obtained the title(degree) of top studies in Conservation and Restoration in the speciality of Painting in the School of León's Art located also in Spain. Nowadays I continue extending my studies in this field with the intention of obtaining the double qualifications and this way to obtain a better preparation and to be able to include mas fields for my future professional career(race).

Art麓s School of Le贸n In the school麓s of Le贸n art develop different practices in two subjects; in pictorial procedures where I developed the methodology of the technologies and in the practices of restoration with real work.



Pictorial procedures Technique: Collage Material: Linen, acrylic, sweets, hygienic paper, carpenter's tail, cable, bulb and plug Dimensions: 33 x 25 cm

Methodological: using as base a linen, I realized the collage painting the image wished on the same one and placed sweets about the image painted with acrylic, he believes a false hand with hygienic paper and tail waters down in order that this way it was supporting a bulb that is ignited.

Encaustic Tecnique: Encaustic Material:Table of wood, tail of rabbit, wax of bee and pigments in powder. Dimensions: 23 x 15 cm

Methodological: I warmed the wax of abaja up to melting it then to mix it with the pigments in powders, later I applied it with paintbrush on a table of wood before prepared with tail of rabbit.


Painting on metal Technique: Painting on metal Material: Plate of copper, stucco, oils and oil. Dimensions: 18 x 12 cm

Methodological: I cleaned the plate of copper using garlic and alcohol then to apply different hands of stucco. I realized an attribute to a work of the Greek one realizing my face using oils and oils.


Painting on table Technique: Painting on table Material: Table of wood, stucco, linen, red bowl, white of egg of egg, bread of gold and oils. Dimensions: 18 x 18 cm Methodological: Prepare the table then to be covered with linen. Later I applied different hands of stucco. I painted using oils and in mantle embolĂŠ using red bowl and to burnish it. To finish I realized a stew on the bowl using white of egg.


Methodological: Preparation of mortars then to apply the technologies of sgraffito, fresh air, tempering to the tail and tempering to the casein.

Treatment conducted:  Polychrome consolidation.  Removing varnish.

Typology: religious Period: XVII century Material and technique: oil and linen Dimensions: 188 x 120 cm

Treatment conducted:  Polychrome consolidation.  Paint tensioning.  Surface cleaning.  Reverse mechanical cleaning.

I elaborated two types of gels for the cleanliness realizing different tryings: Gel 1 mixes of 100 gr of distilled water, with 80 gr of ethanol and 20 gr of Klucel J Gel 2 mixes of 10 gr of Tilosa with 332 ml of distilled water

I took samples of the fabric and analyzed them under the microscope
