KENYA itinerary Day 1
THE EMAKOKO
Nairobi
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative and escorted through customs and immigration to your private vehicle, which will transfer you to The Emakoko, a lodge overlooking Nairobi National Park. The Emakoko is a luxury lodge set on 15 acres of land bordering the Nairobi National Park and the Emakoko River. It has been thoughtfully placed in the side of a valley on the Mbagathi River and there are wonderful views over the river and into the Park. Guests gain a boutique bush experience in this intimate property away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
Days 2/3
SARARA
Samburu
After breakfast, a private car will take you to Wilson Airport. From there a Tropic Air charter will fly you to Sarara airstrip where you will be met by a guide from Sarara who will take you to the camp where you are booked for two nights stay. Sarara is a leading community-run tented camp set in the Matthews Range of Northern Kenya. Accommodation is six luxury tented rooms each positioned to maximise the stunning views of the Mathews Mountain Range and the watering hole. A natural rock swimming pool overlooks a waterhole frequently visited by animals.

SIRIKOI
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
On the morning of day 4, a Tropic Air charter will fly you to Lewa Downs Airstrip. A Sirikoi guide will be there to welcome you off the flight and drive you over to the lodge where you are booked into the luxury tents for 3 nights stay. Sirikoi is a beautiful family-run lodge situated on private land and surrounded by the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Overlooking a natural waterhole, in a shady acacia grove on the foothills of Mount Kenya, Sirikoi offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in East Africa.

RICHARD’S RIVER CAMP
Masai Mara
After breakfast a guide will take you back to Lew Airstrip for your Tropic Air charter over to Mara North Conservancy. From the airstrip, it is a 1.5-hour drive over to Richard’s River Camp where you will stay in luxury tents for 4 nights. Richard’s River Camp is a Masai Mara luxury tented camp set in the private Mara North conservancy. Small, private and exclusive - all 7 tents are individually decorated and have stunning views across the river.

DEPARTURE
Nairobi
On your final day you will get a charter flight back to Wilson and from there you will be collected by our driver and taken to Ole Sereni for dinner (at your own cost) before heading on to JKIA for your onward flight home.

THE EMAKOKO NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK The Emakoko is a family-owned and run lodge artfully built into the side of a valley on the Mbagathi River, which borders the Nairobi National Park, a 45-minute transfer from both airports in Nairobi city. The Emakoko allows people to start and finish their safari in the wildlife environment they have travelled so far to enjoy. The beautifully appointed rooms look out over the game park so one can fall asleep to the sounds of Africa. There are five rooms on the same level as the main areas and a further five rooms with the most spectacular views positioned on top of the cliff, overlooking the valley. Activities include: game drives into one of the most unique game parks in the world, Nairobi National Park; visit the community that border it; an excursion into Nairobi to visit the David Sheldrick wildlife trust, the giraffe center or the local shops may be more appealing.
NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK
SARARA SAMBURU Sarara is found within the lands of the Namunyak Wildlife Conservation Trust. An area of approximately 850,000 acres lies folded around the southern corner of the fabled Mathews Mountain range of Northern Kenya. This is home of the proud Samburu people, a group of semi-nomadic pastoralists who have for long shown tolerance for the wildlife that co-exists alongside their cattle. Sarara has six luxury tents, each positioned to maximise the stunning views of the Mathews Range of mountains and the animal watering hole. Preserving the romance of the tented camp, these tents are spacious and high ceilinged, with plenty of cupboard space, electric lighting and 24 hour hot and cold running water. There is an outdoor bathroom offering a superb view of the hills from the shower. Each tent has its own private terrace with table and chairs and morning coffee and tea are brought to you so that you can wake up gazing out over the mountains. Activities on offer: bush dinners, fly camping, helicopter rides, fly camping, private flights and trips to Samburu Game Reserve.

The cottage has its own kitchen, dining room and living space so that you can be totally independent if you wish. RICHARD’S RIVER CAMP MASAI MARA Perfectly situated on the banks of the Njageteck River and surrounded by 70 acres of private land in between the Mara North and the Olare Orok Conservancy, the River Camp allows for total privacy and exclusivity. An area of pristine game viewing, this camp is also particularly known for its resident lion pride which can often been seen hunting right in front of the camp, and most always can be heard roaring during the night.
