Overview:

• The course will benefit all practitioners (novice or advanced injectors) to safely inject dermal fillers in the lip and perioral region to achieve the exact certain lip outcome tailored to the request and needs of your patients.

• This I-Day Hands-On Training al ows for attendees to work on "live models" to ensure that you will leave the course having the expertise in all of the latest non-surgical lip enhancement procedures and feel comfortable incorporating these procedures upon completion of the program. The format for the course is "classical sty e" where there will be didactic in the morning session and small groups for the practical session supervised by our Board-Certified Faculty staff of physicians in a clinical setting. A thorough understanding of Dermal Fillers is a pre-requisite and prior completion of the Empire Medical Training's "Complete Dermal Filler or Advanced Dermal Filler Training", prior experience in administering HA Dermal Fillers, or equivalency is necessary for

attendance to the course.

• What makes Empire unique is their proprietary methods for teaching, Empire utilizes low teacher to patient ratios for the hands-on portion of the program allowing more personalized training during the afternoon sessions with patients.

Learning Objectives:

upon completion of the Advanced Lip Filler Techniques (Level Ill) course each attendee will:

• Acquire the necessary knowledge to identify potential patients and safely perform these advanced lip filling procedures and consult with patients expected results while managing expectations.

• Review pertinent lip and perioral anatomy, specialty methods to evaluate the patient (e.g., Euclid Proportion, Steiner Line, Glogau-Klein point) to ensure proper treatment options for patients and consistent results.

• Learn to perform the various nerve (dental blocks)

• Discuss with patients their goals in maintaining a natural look to their lips, HA product selection, and realistic, expected results from the procedure.

• Understand the treatment and injection guidelines associated with these advanced procedures, possible contraindications, and identify and learn how to manage complications or adverse events associated with the procedure.

• Learn the various adjunct treatments that can be utilized with lip filling including PDO Threads and Neurotoxins for the enhancement and augmentation of perioral and lip presentations.

• Learn proper techniques, suggested protocols, and knowledge "pearls" for administering advanced lip enhancement procedures.

• Acquire the necessary product information, pricing and packaging strategies, and successful marketing strategies and techniques for incorporating and expanding your aesthetic services to include the latest, trending lip filler styles.
