Obesity is one of the biggest public health problems in the world today. Bariatric metabolic surgery has become the immediate
solution and is considered aa a gold standard treatment. This workshop is being conducted after coordinating and selecting a number of fellow surgeons who have interest in bariatric surgery field and who also possess a minimum 2 years of experience in laparoscopic surgery. The primary focus of the workshop will be on the practical angle of obesity surgery with focus on not only identifying the challenges and overcoming them during bariatric surgery but also direct practical training.
