AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM: The Morehouse School of Medicine designated this enduring activity for a maximum of up to 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent to their participation in the activity. AOA Category 1-B Credits: The Osteopathic Founders Foundation (OFF) designates this program for a maximum of 1.50 AOA Category 1-B Credits. OFF will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the osteopathic physician’s participation in this activity. Program Description: CME Forum is a recurring educational event designed to foster dialog between primary care providers (PCPs) and the oncology team, providing strategies that contribute to integrative care for patients with cancer. Presentations and case studies are provided to enhance clinician knowledge and competence in areas related to the care of patients with cancer along the spectrum, from wellness and prevention through treatment and survivorship. Topics for Part I include: topics in thoracic surgery, management of side effects from immunotherapy and topics in interventional gastroenterology. Educational Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: • Discuss the complaints and complications that can occur after thoracic surgery procedures in patients with cancer • Discuss interventional gastroenterology approaches in patients with cancer • Describe management of side effects of immunotherapy in patients with cancer
