Magic is astounding, mystifying, and amazing. Have you ever seen a magic show or tricks? If you have then you know how amazing it can be. This report will cover the history of magic, the dangers of magic and famous magicians. Magic dates back to ancient times. Our earliest record of magic dates back to about 2000 B.C. An Egyptian magician named Dedi was called to entertain King Cheops. One of his tricks involved cutting off an animal’s head and bringing it back to life unharmed. Magic can be death defying in a lot of tricks and in a lot of tricks it can be very dangerous for the magician. For example Roy Horn from Siegfried and Roy got attacked by a tiger on a performance on Roy’s 59th birthday! And madam DeLinsky was killed on stage trying to catch a speeding bullet in her teeth!
Another magician, stage name Karr, was hit by a car as he was trying to escape from a Straight jacket. The car was coming at him as part of an act to make build more suspense and he couldn’t get out in time. There are a lot of other famous magicians such as Harry Houdini, David Copperfield, David Blaine, Chris Angel, and Siegfried and Roy. They all have done a lot of well-known tricks that have never been done before. For example, David Copperfield made the statue of liberty disappear! Magic is exciting, mystifying, mysterious, and fun to perform. Maybe you should try to be a magician like me. If not find a different hobby or job you like, like me and magic.
