The institution sits on a hill top over-looking the M orm ugao Bay. Inorder for the institution to be in context and feel m ore like an extention to the site the design tried to bring out the im age of a fort over-looking the ocean sim ilar to the great forts of G oa. The reference to the forts are m ade evident through large external w alls arranged in a parallel sequential order at either ends of structural volum es. Exposed laterite is used for the large w alls sim ilar to the forts as laterite is the m ost abundantly available building m aterial in G oa
