Welcome to the 6th annual 2016 Suncoast College Fair This event is open to all and our mission is twofold: First, to provide the most comprehensive and up to date information about colleges, universities, vocational programs and the military service to our community of students and their parents. After this experience we hope they can use that data to make the most educated decision about their post high school journey. Second, we recruited subject matter experts on topics like “what schools are right for you,” “how to pay for college” and “strategies for college entry exams” to be on exhibit in the gymnasium to mix and mingle with our attendees. More significant, their expertise and insight will be conveyed in fact filled 30-minute breakout briefings in classrooms. Some quick highlights about Suncoast Community High School (Chargers): • Suncoast Community High School is composed of four accelerated magnet programs: Math, Science, and Engineering; Computer Science; International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme; and Innovative Interactive Technology.
• We attract a diverse student body from Palm Beach County (Magnet school).
• 92% of our students matriculate to four-year colleges and the
remaining 8% of students enroll in two-year colleges or military academies.
• In addition to our four core programs, we offer the AP Capstone credential and the International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme.
We invite you to listen, absorb, interact and ask questions during this event! Please take the opportunity to garner the information that could help you make critical life forming decisions! Thank you for attending!
