SPACE FOR EARTH

"Space for Earth" encompasses the various ways in which space technology and exploration are used to benefit and address challenges on Earth. It highlights the interconnectedness of space activities with life on our planet.

Earth Observation: the use of satellites and other space-based technologies to monitor and collect data about the Earth's surface, atmosphere, oceans, hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, floods, and climate.

Environmental Monitoring: space-based instruments and satellites help monitor and study environmental changes, such as deforestation, air and water quality, sea-level rise, crops, managing natural resources, optimizing land use, and the impact of climate change.

Space-Based Communication: satellites in Earth's orbit enable global communication networks, including the internet, television broadcasting, and GPS navigation systems

Space Exploration: space exploration can also have applications on Earth, such as advancements in robotics, materials science, and medical research.

Space Sustainability: prevent space debris and protect the space environment.
