According to various use the two commonly used development boards are AVR Development board and PIC development Board. AVR Development board is designed in such a way that it could be manipulated by users. It’s a multiple IC and plug supporter which supports all AVR series ICs. The board is compatible with highly popular ATmega8 and ATmega16. Tacktile switches help you to connect multi-buttons. The device is supportive to several display device including LCD, 7 segments (Digital display), all pin out port are used for AVR special functions, as RX and TX helps in wireless communication like Bluetooth, I2C and SPI. Focusing on the merits of 40 pin PIC development Board, it’s a prototype board for developing USB applications, with PIC 18F4550 microcontroller. With the help of USB hardware built into it so that you can program different USB stacks directly onto the IC. The prototyping space allows you to easily add on sensors, relays and other peripheral devices to interface to USB. The board can take power from USB or from an external supply with small jumper selection.
