“AIRBUS ROLL OUT LIVERIES, YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS” There comes a certain time during the beta testing stages of a new ai model when you know that its release is imminent This stage referred to above of course is when the aircraft is painted into its manufacturer’s house colours. The house colours were previewed in the AlphaIndia Group forums this week and after contacting Erez about the progress of his model he said; [I've
painted the] Airbus roll out liveries, [so] you know what this means” As with the Boeing 737 series (and also TFS models), Erez has elected to paint the aircraft in the house livery that the aircraft wore when they were first manufactured. Of course now, Airbus has the newer house colours but these will not feature in the model’s release. If you’d like to read more about the FAIB A32X models you can turn to page 5 or alternatively browse the many AI forums in existence. Also on page 5 you will find a list of airlines that have currently been painted on the new model.

REPAINTERS’ SECTION

Jürgen Baumbusch Etihad’s new 747-8 Freighter was painted soon after its real life delivery. Also this month Air Canada Rouge 763 (HD), Air Calin A332 and Fiji Airways A332 & 738 were painted and released.
flyingcarpet75 One release round this month from the team. Philippe released Aeromexico Connect EMB-175, Kharkiv Airlines 738, UTair 738’s featuring the pixelated motif on the tail fins. Elias painted Ameristar’s Beech 200’s (fleet) along with TAM 763 with winglets equipped. This is on a HD paintkit.
Endeavour AI A Busy month for the EAI team with 24 repaint packages released in a single round. The releases include; Afriqiyah A320, Alsie Express ATR72, Avianca Primer ATR72, CSA ATR42/72, A319 and A333, Daallo BAE 146-200, exxaro 732, Germania A319, Helvetic Airways A319, Iberia A333, JetGo Australia ERJ135, Meridiana 738 & A320, Nas Air 744, Private Gulfstream II, Saudia Cargo 744F, Syphax Air A320, Turkish Airlines (Borussia Dortmund) 738, TransAsia A333, Viva Colombia A320 and WestJet 752 (retro). Doug Roth will also be releasing some flightplans on the EAI forums that will compliment his paints.

Kyle equipped his previous UPS 763 paint with winglets, painted two private 732’s and Eastern Skyjets 734 in quite an interesting c/s.
Several paints for their 787 model were released including British Airways, China Southern and Hainan Airlines.
Federico’s Virgin Australia Fokker 50 completed the round of releases.
Other releases were Aviatrans K A320, Kazakhstan IL-76, Khors Air A320, Transaviabaltika L410.
Please keep your eyes peeled for an imminent release of the NAAI (Juan Sebastian Gonzalez) Boeing 707-320C model. The paintkit and model have received final touches and will be released this weekend hopefully. The paints ready for release will be pleasing to retro and military fans; Air Force One, Avianca, Colombian Air Force, Iran Gov, Iraqi Airways, Israel Air Force, Pan Am and Varig.

Alpha India Group The 2nd round of the AIG Summer 2013 releases appeared on the 23rd June. This round included Air Caledonie, Air Caledonie International, Air Saint-Pierre, Cyprus Airways, FedEx, Go! Hawaii, Nok Mini, Northwestern Air, Polar Air Cargo and Vladivostok Air. The AIG team is still hard at work with many airlines in beta and many more to come!

MAIW Three Packages this month from the Military AI Works team; IAF 115th Sq Ovda Military AI Works is proud to present the IAF 115th Squadron Aggressors at Ovda package by Giorgio Perotti. Featuring the F-16s of the "Dragon Squadron", this package brings to life Ovda Air Base in southern Israel. Included in this great package are custom made flight plans, custom scenery, aircraft textures, callsigns and much more. In addition to the active F16s, this package also includes extensive retired F-4 Phantom, A-4 Skyhawk and Kfir aircraft models parked in storage about the base. Congratulations to Giorgio on the release of his first MAIW package!
models, the custom scenery for Mountain Home AFB has been updated as well, along with a new airfield file and aircraft flight plans. If you have installed any previous version of Mountain Home AFB from MAIW, you should completely remove those contents and replace them with our latest version. Seymour Johnson AFB Seymour Johnson AFB is the Strike Eagle "School House" for the USAF and hosts the 4th Fighter Wing along with the 916th Air Refueling Wing. This package is also a stand alone replacement for both previous MAIW versions of Seymour Johnson AFB and features the brand new F-15E and KC-135R models by Kevin Reed, Mike MacIntyre and the MAIW developement team. All previous installations of Seymour Johnson AFB should be removed prior to installing this latest version. If you have installed any previous version of Seymour Johnson AFB from MAIW, you should completely remove those contents and replace them with our latest version.
Mountain Home AFB Military AI Works presents the updated releases of our two United States based Strike Eagle packages with Mountain Home AFB v2 and Seymour Johnson AFB v3 for your virtual skies. Our second version of Mountain Home AFB by the team of Desmond Burrell, Matt Downs and John Stinstrom features the 366th Fighter Wing which hosts two squadrons of F-15E Strike Eagles. CHOPPERS ON THE HORIZON United Traffic Team has already previewed the Eurocopter EC-120 Colibri model but now it appears they are working on another helicopter – this time the Sikorsky S76. An official notice was posted on their website several weeks since, confirming they were working on a CRJ700, CRJ900 and the RJ-100 will be
released soon. Maksim posted screenshots of the Sikorsky S76 on both UTT forums and AIG forums. It can be confirmed too that the CRJ900 was uploaded to beta-testing earlier this week. The painting will be done by the flyingcarpet75 team. The model is by Sergei Bunevich and the paintkit by Jürgen Baumbusch.
FAIB BETA PROGRESS Progress is being made with the Airbus A32X beta, Erez’ latest gem (see front page). The model and paintkit have been updated six times now with minor corrections each time. Earlier this month the horizontal stabiliser position was adjusted slightly and the painters have updated paints accordingly. Airlines that have now been painted include; Adria, Aer Lingus, Aeroflot, Aircalin, Air Arabia, Air Astana, Air Berlin Group, Air China, Air France, Air Mediterranee, Air Via, ANA, Asiana Airlines, AtlasJet, Avianca, BH Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Cambodia Angkor Air, Condor, CSA, easyJet, Delta,
Edelweiss, Germania, Germanwings, German Government, Hamburg, Helvetic Airways, JetBlue, Jordan Aviation, Lufthansa, Monarch, Onur Air, SAS, SATA, SilkAir, Spirit, TAP Portugal, Tarom, Thomas Cook, Thomas Cook Scandinavia, Tiger Airways Group, United, VietJet Air, Vietnam Airlines, Virgin America & Viva Colombia – (I apologise to any painter(s) if I’ve missed any).
