To Maximizing Life In Christ
Weighed down with society’s physical and emotional pressures, many of us have become content carrying compromise under our church smiles. We’ve bought into the lie of not getting too stirred on Sundays, because it becomes too hard and impractical to live come Mondays. It feels easier to just be spiritual and not radical, “having a form of godliness, but denying its power” (2 Timothy 3:5). Everyone else is calling themselves believers while flowing downstream with the current of lust, folly, and perversion – so why strive to be different?
Because too much is at stake. Your friendship with God is already paid for with blood, so you cannot afford to buy into today’s lie that it’s too expensive to achieve. Furthermore, those God-sized dreams in your heart will only suffer a miscarriage in lukewarm environments. Christ can deliver the impossible, but you must be in position for His timing and know that you have authority to tell mediocrity to “shut up!” Plus, your family is broken beyond what nice words can repair. God needs an inside (wo)man that will let him back in to the home to break these cursed patterns already suffocating the next generation. Even your friends are desperately trying everything to find themselves and need to be reminded that God hasn’t lost their identities – He knows exactly who they are. And while culture is boasting about finding love in a hopeless place all the symptoms are pointing to a mis-diagnosis, instead revealing temporary infatuations, sex-driven hookups, and endless heartbreak.
So what sets an UNCAGED woman apart?
It sounds simple, but too often we get caught up chasing the carrot mistaking it for the key to a free and full life. For example, we sacrifice so many aspects of our lives for the “paper chase” hoping it will unlock our happiness. Yet, the media is flooded with the stories of numerous wealthy icons still caged in insecurities and depression. So if money is not one of the keys, what truly sets us free? I’m glad you asked, let’s hear Jesus’ own words in response: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you
will know the
the truth will set you free”
truth, and
(John 8:31-32).
Now before you shut down thinking you’ve already given that a try – I’m going to challenge and ask, “Have you really?” Many, like myself, are just used to hearing the Word on Sunday, skimming it on a devotional app on a Tuesday, and then wondering why you’re powerless to live it out by Friday.
But Jesus was not being sarcastic when He said “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Snacking on truth is not the same as eating it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As lionhearts, we need meaty diets to thrive – milk and motivational Instagram quotes just won’t do. God showed me that we must indulge, chew, and savor His truths until they become fully digested into who we are (Deuteronomy 11:18-25).
In this guide, I provide
7 keys and the respective Scripture
references that helped me re-write my mental scripts and habits to uncage my kingdom identity. Only after knowing who I was saved for, could I employ the boldness to not return to who I was saved from.
This practice begins to turn the key in your spirit and soul, and then
it clicks!

All the forgiveness and freedom from Christ is pretty much summed up in this one truth:
“I have loved you, says
the Lord (Malachi 1:2).
Not much else can happen outside of grasping and owning this powerful key. Nothing more matters once living in this reality. The UNCAGED woman embraces that her Creator fully knows her, wants her, and bought her from sin to fully love her. God is her beloved and she is His (Song of Solomon 6:3). She realizes if her Heavenly Father did not spare His own Son to express this love, what else will He not freely give her? (Romans 8:32). As a daughter of the King, this love goes beyond feelings. The virtuous woman understands that she has been fully adopted into an unbroken covenant. So she is confident that nothing can separate her from the love of Christ (Romans 8:39). And yet, this is only the beginning of walking out a forgiven, and fearless freedom. Read on :)"

Clinging to the cross that now grants all her desires for life, and life abundantly (John 10:10), the uncaged woman realizes that such Good News is too precious to keep to herself. It’s like being reunited with the royal family you were separated from at birth – and you want to link others back to their original inheritance also. Who the son sets free is free indeed (John 8:32) so she boldly shares such a great salvation amidst the exchanges of “sexcapades” at the

Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, so the uncaged woman isn’t anchored on these fleeting realities. She knows it’s all about who you know, and she knows the greatest – God Himself – and she is privileged to serve Him in fear and wonder (Proverbs 31:30). Still she isn’t foolish, and acknowledges that her physical beauty is a gift from God to be stewarded for such a time as this. Rather, she uses it to draw others to the fruit of the Spirit that dwells within

Even as believers, we will find ourselves in between a rock and a hard place at times. Yet, the uncaged woman remembers that God hasn’t called her to live a godly life without providing actual power to do so (Titus 2:11-12). She doesn’t use tempting or overwhelming situations as an excuse to sin or compromise. If anything, where sin abounds,
“where sin turns up, God ‘gets turnt’ even more”.
grace abounds even more (Romans 5:20) – read:
So dark situations become her stage to shine even brighter and see God work; it’s why she was saved and sent! With great privilege to the throne, comes great responsibility and she has no complaints for the crown she wears.

The uncaged woman does not negotiate with terrorists, sin being the chief villain. She realizes that bargaining with lust is like cutting a deal with Hitler. There is no win-win scenario because sin has no interest in mutual agreements, but seeks only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). “Whoever sins is a slave to sin” so only a fool would turn down God’s provision of escape (John 8:34). With grace as her defendant & deed to freedom, she persists to

Like a genuine friend that has stood the test of time, the uncaged woman acknowledges that God has been the best of them. Questions such as “how far can I go and not sin?” become irrelevant as both parties take great care and joy in finding out what pleases the other (Ephesians 5:10). Prayer matures from a “get out of jail free card” to rich exchanges of desire and strategy for the shared Kingdom vision. She has access to heaven’s round table and can receive God’s wisdom and insight for every situation, if she only asks (James 1:5). Make no mistake though, Jesus is not her “homeboy”. This is a

To win a war you have to start one and the uncaged woman has no problem picking a fight with her flesh. Sin gets no pity party or blind eye in her private life, and will be snitched on in a hurry. Even if all things are lawful under grace, she refuses to be mastered by anything (1 Corinthians 6:12). Season 2 of Empire will wait if she still needs a grasp on the personal empire Christ is calling her to dominate. In God’s sovereign goodness, we have been crafted in the flesh and given access to its numerous pleasures. However, she will not allow her flesh to lead the Spirit – that’s like allowing the child to parent the adult, and ain’t nobody got time for that! “For sin shall have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace” (Romans 6:14).
You have the essential keys** to stand outside of your temptations or circumstances, and not be boxed in by the cultural noise – but you must choose to use them. Quite frankly, the Lord does not share His Spirit with everyone. So do not take this key for granted or play small to blend in with your surroundings. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you for great acts of purpose (Isaiah 61:1), and has an agenda bigger than you. Let’s get in position and work with our local churches to counter the confusion of our culture for
greater is the Lion in you, than the bark that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
