Subject: eTwinning Mediterranean Seminar 2020 – Climate Change: Saving our Blue! _________________________________________________________________________________ The eTwinning National Support Service is pleased to announce the eTwinning Mediterranean Seminar for 2020. The Seminar this year will be taking a new format due to the COVID-19 situation. Therefore instead of the usual face-to-face seminar it will be a one-day online event. It will take place on the MS TEAMS platform on Saturday the 21st November 2020. The Seminar will be hosting teachers from various Mediterranean countries. Target Audience: The Seminar is open to all educators (including LSEs), from State, Church and Independent Schools who are beginners in eTwinning. Thus educators who would like to learn more about eTwinning, who wish to experience and share ideas through collaboration and networking with educators from other countries, or who are interested in embedding Digital Literacy in their learning outcomes are invited to fill in the online application to attend the seminar. The Seminar: The theme for this year’s Seminar is ‘Climate Change: Saving our Blue!’ Thus, workshops will not only focus on eTwinning as an innovative pedagogy but also on the integration of Digital Literacy and eTwinning in projects within the theme of Climate Change and our Mediterranean sea. One of the sessions will also consist of a networking activity between participants aimed at encouraging registration of new eTwinning Collaborative Projects. Application Process and Criteria: Participation is by application on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are expected to register to the eTwinning platform and have a project idea that will be developed and registered during the seminar. Interested educators are kindly asked to register by the 6th November 2020 through this link: https://bit.ly/3laxytk A draft agenda is attached for your perusal. Thank you for your attention.
