MEET THE NEW LtG Hi all!

I am Rochelle Banta and I will be your Lieutenant Governor for the 2014-2015 year. I would like to give a special thank you to Chiara Marzi, our previous LtG. She did an amazing job, and I hope do the same by further strengthening our division! I plan to increase the interaction and communication among our clubs to make this the best year possible for key club! I will also be working closely with neighboring division’s LtGs to create an amazing Rally in the Valley for you all! I look forward to seeing you at my first DCM which is coming up soon!

A little bit of Q&A: Q: What are your hobbies? Q: What are your qualifications?

A: I have been involved in North

Valley’s key club since my freshman year, and am currently the vice president. I have attended two District Conventions now, and have learned a lot along the way! I am highly involved in leadership/ volunteer opportunities such as: the American Red Cross, Interact, Focus Teen Council, Josephine County Foundation, and National Honor’s Society. When I was in middle school, I participated in Builder’s Club all three years, and in 8th grade held the position of president.

A: Outside of Key Club, I play soccer

and love to spend time with friends. I enjoy tons of outdoor activities such as: camping, going for a walk, or even just sitting out in the sun.

Q:What is your best Key Club memory?

A: Honestly, being initiated as lieutenant

governor at DCON this year would have to be my best memory. It made me realize that I still have another year to make a huge difference by volunteering at the high school level. Also, being surrounded by other key clubbers who were passionate about volunteering was highly motivational to both myself and other club members who attended. APRIL 2014
