Chief Program Officer, Starbridge
Elissa Burke (she/her/hers) is a leader in the not-for-profit human services field for over fifteen years. She has an entrepreneurial spirit that has been a driving force in promoting advocacy for policy change and growth. Elissa’s personal and professional experience has allowed her to bring compassion and vision as a leader, demonstrated, most recently, in her current role as the Chief Program Officer at Starbridge.
She has significant experience building out human service programs providing hands-on support as well as leadership and coaching. Elissa’s focus is to achieve sustainable growth while increasing service delivery. A top priority for Elissa is being able to create career opportunities for those in the field while continuing to meet the needs of our community.
Elissa is a Nazareth University alumna, attended Dale Carnegie Leadership Institute, Citizen-Centered Leadership through Cornell University, holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from The University of South Florida. Elissa was nominated as an Emerging Leader through ANCHOR.
Elissa serves as the Vice President of the Webster Theatre Guild, CEO and Chairman of the Board for Camp Joy, Inc., and an advisor on the Board of Directors for New England Brittany Rescue.
Elissa enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, on their small hobby farm in Ontario, NY.
