We just received one of the coolest songs I’ve heard in a while. It’s an somewhat psychedelic / Pop / R&B song called “Ariana” from Christopher Harold Wells’ band, The Neverlutionaries. The publicist that sent us the info suggested that the sound was more like a Lenny Kravitz meets Prince type of song, and let me tell you, they weren’t far off. It’s smooth lyrics and lush sounds definitely suggest that comparison. Now the problem with all of this is that they only sent us one song… The song sounded great and I would have liked to have heard more. “Ariana’ is the first release off of The Neverlutionaries upcoming EP. The other problem is that now I will have to wait till January 21st of next year when the EP is released to get the full package. Hopefully between now and then they will leak a couple of more songs because I was very impressed with what I heard on “Ariana”. The single “Ariana” will be released on October 2 nd , so most of you who are reading this story may have a chance of finding it on Spotify or YouTube now. But I have to tell you, the song is really great. Just put it on and sit back on the couch with your woman or partner in your arms and you can just get lost in the moment. It’s really nice. It’s got a romantic flair to it. The EP will be released on January 21 st via Polychromatic Records and will be the Axtell (Psychefunkapus). first in a series of 3 EP’s from The Also performing with Wells are Lynyrd Neverlutionaries. Although “The song is about the way love makes you may not be too familiar with his name, your soul dance about and how the feeling you may be familiar with a band he was in moves you,” Wells explains. “The music is called the Peasants of the Apocalypse. The like life with many movements and Peasants opened up for Metallica, Everclear, changes… harmony to discord and then to and Def Leppard. Christopher also went on resolution.
