What Is drifting Drifting is a high skill level motorsport in which drivers control a car while it slides from side to side at high speed (approx. 80 to 100mph) through a fixed course. Many of us would be more familiar with Rallying-and possibly to a lesser extent Formula 1, Drifting is the most exciting moment of both rallying and Formula 1 replayed time and time again for the crowd. To describe drifting is difficult, although its often compared surfing, ice-skating and skateboarding, mainly because its an expression of skill by the driver with the car, not fastest lap or first past a point. To give a non descriptive version of drifting – its how much slip angle a driver can obtain, how long they hold it, and how close they stay to the racing line of the track. To give a descriptive version, Drifting is drivers taking the car beyond its limits of grip, holding it at the biggest angle possible and keep doing it through a series of bends with the highest speed and best style. Drifting is a judged sport and is not a timed event. Who is Team Skylinepart Team Skylinepart is run and owned by Anthony Scott. The team was setup in 2008 after a first year debut of the Skylinepart R34 Monster, which was at the time the most powerful drift car in the UK. Team Skylinepart is run on the back of Anthony’s hugely successful business Skylinepart.com which has the biggest used parts collection of Nissan Skylineparts in Europe. A hugely successful business which he has now turned to drifting to turn the Skylinepart Powerhouse into one of the most successful drift teams in the UK/Europe Owner Driver-Anthony Scott Anthony has gone from strength to strength in 2010.In only his third year of Professional drifting he secured a podium place at round 3 of JDM All-stars at Lydden Hill.2009 has seen a lot of development of the S13 Chassis and for 2011 he will be focusing on podium and top 8 ranking scores. Team PR Manager- Emily Quarzi Emily has been a huge part of the team, constantly updating Anthony’s profiles, Media data collection and press release reports after events. With Emily’s strong background in Journalism she has already secured some newspapers as media partners for the team. Team Photographer – Blog writer- Andrew McCann At the start of 2011 Andy joined the team, a highly skilled photo journalist with many contacts in the media world, Andy follows the team to most events shooting the action and reporting back to many high profile blog sites.

What is Rocket Bunny 6666 ? The Rocket bunny body Kit is a retro 70/80’s body kit from Japan. It was developed in Japan by Tra-Kyoto and quickly took huge worldwide publicity. To this day the skylinepart Car is the only car that adorns the body kit in the UK .Mix it with well matched graphics and paintwork and it’s easy to see why this stunning car is getting so much attention The Car The car primarily started off as an S13 200sx, but that’s where everything changed. Media coverage during 2009/10 Since (and during) its build in late 2008 / early 2009 the Skylinepart.com built Rocket Bunny drift racing car has had phenomenal media coverage, quoted as being the most photographed, blogged and talked about drift car in 2009/10. A list of the coverage the car has had in 2009/10; Our vist to Dubai in December 2010 with JDM Allstars was a great success, Motors TV covered the event with driver interviews and all the driving action, the TV show “full throttle middle east” was aired across Europe thoughout December to a massive audience, Motors TV are to make another show this year covering our European tour.

Car build is blogged on the Driftworks forum, over 300,000 views and still climbing. Car is featured on the Speedhunters site on its completion. The car has featured many times since on Speedhunters. Speedhunters is a global site owned by EA games. Numerous interviews and video on the JDM official pod casts throughout the year. TV interview on the North East news at round one of JDMallstars. Prodrift Ireland feature the car regularly in there highly popular podcasts. Featured all year on the JDMallstars web site and podcasts. Clash productions (a highly respected motor sport film team) feature the car in a few of there videos for a sparkplug distributor. A 15 minute slot on Men and motors TV dedicated to drifting, the car and myself feature heavily. Banzai magazine, 5 page feature on the car in the U.K. Auto salon magazine, 9 page feature on the car in Australia. Modified motors, 5 page feature on the car in Ireland. Driver.ie have a feature on the highly respected online magazine in Ireland. Carbon vision.nl have a feature on their online magazine in Holland. Vtuning.md have a feature on their online magazine in Romania. Our local newspaper “The Hexham Courant” ran a feature at the start of the season and another at the end of the season, next year they are planning to do a large feature about the car, the season ahead, drifting in general and run regular updates as the season progresses.

We have in the past helped Road respect, a government funded road safety initiative to help promote road safety in the North east, our previous drift car was used in their online campaigns, we keep in touch with Road respect and will probably help in the future with the Rocket bunny car, giving demonstrations in the car at shows they attend. The car has its own Facebook page where we blog all aspects of the cars physical updates, events the car attends and general exposure the car attains. We also have regular Twitter updates in conjunction with Facebook, i.e. live updates as the car progresses at events.

If you go to Google images and type in “Rocket bunny Scotty” the car appears in many blog sites globally. We estimate images of the car have been viewed globally over a million times!

2011 calendar (TBA) As an international pro level drift licence holder I can attend all events across Europe. Pro-JDM All-stars Licence Holder Pro-BDC License Holder Prodrift-Ireland License Holder I have been driving in drift competitions for the last five years and have worked my way up to the highest level. The highlight of my drifting career so far was finishing the JDM Allstars series 2009 in the top five. With a podium finish at Lydden hill racetrack in Kent. Top 7 JDM Allstars 2010. We will run the full series of the JDM Allstars as it is the biggest series in Europe and gets the biggest media exposure. Coverage by Motors TV 2011 Events Calendar Round 1 –Teesside Autodrome, England April 25th JDM Allstars returns to its roots at Teesside. As well as opening the inaugural 2008 series, this famous venue also hosted the 2007 Big X and Night Fight events, which led to the birth of JDM Allstars. Widely regarded as one of the best Drifting tracks in Europe, it combines the fast flowing lines with a technical mid section making it the perfect track. The amphitheatre effect of the grounds makes this a favourite among spectators. We are excited to be holding the first drift competition at this venue since 2008. (FINISHED TOP 16) Round 2-Sunderland,England May 14/15th Following on from the success of the 2010 event at the Nissan Factory, JDM Allstars is delighted to be given the opportunity to return to the venue and build on its experience from last year. With our custom built track allowing for some of the highest entry speeds to be seen this season, and a massive natural viewing bank, this venue promises to delight spectators. Drifting has firmly returned to the North East. (FINISHED TOP 8) Round 3-Malta June 10-12th JDM Allstars has always had both a strong European following, but for the first time we are going to be a truly European series by holding events on the continent. Just off Italy, Malta has one of the fastest growing drift organizations in Europe, and with that are launching there championship creating a European level event off the back of their hugely successful modified car show series. A custom venue will be created and will be one of the highlights of the summer. Round 4-Anneau Du Rhin, France June 24/25th Next stop will be the French round at the Famous Anneau du Rhin circuit France.Home of France’s biggest Summer drifting Festival. This is a giant step for European Professional Drifting and the French lead the way with .This will be one of the busiest events of the season with drivers flooding in from all over the continent and being in the heart of central Europe between Switzerland, Germany and France. 8 Round 5-Donington Park, England July 15-17th JDM Allstars returns to Donington Park, a venue which hosted one of the most memorable rounds last year. This year, JDM Allstars has joined forces with the World Touring Car Championship to bring Professional Drifting to one of the UK motorsport events of the year. Using a different track layout this year will ensure spectators don’t miss any of the action. This promises to be a memorable event for all motorsport fans. Round 6- Wembley,England September 16-17th JDM Allstars returns to Wembley for the final round of the series. This will be our 4th year at this unique venue, taking Professional Drifting to the heart of London. Reverting back to our original location from 2008, the Top 16 will do battle under floodlights on Saturday evening under the shadow of the stadium.. This venue has been established as the proving ground for Europe’s best Professional Drifters to do battle and this event promises to be a fitting finale to a great 2011 series. Sept 23-24th /October 1-2nd TBC European Battle of Nations Finals Poznan, Poland Of course, why should drifting end in September? With Poland producing some of the top Professional Drifters in Europe today, it was only fitting that they would host a major European event. Situated between Scandinavia, Western and Eastern Europe, this is the perfect venue for the Battle of the Nations Finals. This event will see the top 3 drivers from 12-15 countries battle it out to see who is the true King of Europe, and where the best drivers in Europe reside.
Throughout 2009/10 we were invited to attend several high profile events in Europe and Ireland, time permitting in 2011 we will attend a handful of the bigger events. Demonstrations and Live Exhibitions
