MENU SUBJECT TO CHANGE LUNCH PRICE: $2.75 (includes milk) 20 punch ticket = $55.00 MILK PRICE: $0.50 20 punch ticket = $10.00 The National School Lunch Program is available to all eligible children without regard to race, color, national origin, age of handicap.
Free and reduced price meals are provided for students from families meeting federally established income guidelines. You can obtain an application for meals in either school office. School meals are healthy meals. School lunches must meet federal guidelines based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. The current guidelines recommended that no more than 30% of an individual’s calories come from fat, and less than 10% from saturated fat. Regualtions also establish a standard for school lunches to provide one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowances of protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, iron, calcium, and calories. These guidelines apply over the course of one week of school lunch menus. We hope you will feel better about school lunch knowing that your student's well being is our goal. We encourage children to eat a balanced meal. We do this by offering child friendly foods that in many cases have been especially formulated to be low in fat while providing the flavor and calories that children need.
