Spanish Modern There are so many interpretations of French style, but almost none of Spanish style so we came up with a Spanish Modern style shoot with influences from the ruffles of flamenco dresses, Spanish architecture, lace and of course fans. We

wanted to use a strong and sophisticated color palette to go with our glam shoot, and we were lucky to get these gorgeous “models” to pose for us, a real married couple! A great happy ending! This shoot was published on Merci.

Corinne + Alex

Corinne and Alex were self-described news junkies with opposite leaning political tendencies, so we wanted to highlight some of their unique interests as well as have some generally adorable props for this preppy couple. Both work in media and devour news, and each has their favorite newspaper: hers, the New York Times, his, the Wall Street

Journal. We also included some shots with their favorite books from their apartment in a playful sequence, and had an adorable champagne toast in the park. All of the pictures were taken in their charming Brooklyn neighborhood, Cobble Hill. Corinne and Alex are just as fun, charming, and in love as they appear in these pictures!

Inspiration to Reality For this Inspiration to Reality shoot, we used a favorite image from Ara’s past in the interior design world. Always inspired by an image designed by Martha Angus, she sought a way to use the room’s eclectic layering of styles to guide the

tablescape. The end result mixes classic elements with pop art and hot colors for a dynamic and beautiful result. Don’t be afraid to mix it up style wise! This photo shoot was featured in Style Me Pretty and Dog n’ Bird.

Martha Stewart Wedding Fair Booth Styling We were tasked with creating a booth for the fabulous photographer Mel Barlow that displayed her personal style as well as her photography. With vintage props and chalkboard frames, we created a stylish bohemian backdrop for Mel’s

photography. Potted plants added to the welcoming, homey feel of Mel’s booth. We wanted someone to understand Mel’s style and approachability and instantly be drawn to learn more.

Queen of Manhattan For this inspiration photo shoot we built off of the fabulous reproduction Louis XIV chairs by de Gournay. Instead of using them in a traditional setting, we used them in an unexpected way- on a gritty, modern rooftop overlooking

the Flatiron building. The juxtiposition of the antique, royal table setting against a graphic, hard cityscape creates immediate interest and dynamism. This photo shoot was featured on Merci and Postcards & Pretties.

Jen + Sam Jennifer and Sam are such a fun couple, and they chose the Santa Barbara Zoo for their late Spring wedding. The bride wanted to achieve a playful, whimsical wedding while maintaining an elegant feel. The zoo setting allowed

for unexpected and fun animal details, the bright flowers were both knock-out beautiful and exuberant, and the classic white tables allowed for both themes to mingle without competing.

Katie + John

Katie and John met on the subway in NYC, which goes to show that maybe you shouldn’t always ignore your fellow riders! Their Fall wedding was held at a bed and breakfast in the countryside, and the couple wanted an

elegant wedding with personal and whimsical details. We achieved this through crisp green apple centerpieces, lots of candlelight, and of course NYC subway details.

Lisa + Chris

This lovely couple had a classic style and wanted an elegant romantic look. We brought this to life with a black and white color palette with pops of red to play

homage to their Indian heritage. Romantic touches like lace, rose petals and lots of candles created an intimate feel in this reception for 350.

Cam + Marcella

Marcella and Cameron’s wedding was chock full of personalized details for these lovers of travel, books and each other. We created a vintage literary and travel theme, including a stack of vintage books on each table (which did double duty as favors for each guest), postcards made

from the groom’s travel photography, loose and luscious flowers and candles to keep it romantic and elegant. The guests were guided to their tables by airmail envelopes on a table stacked with books, a vintage globe and old fashioned polaroid cameras.

Vintage Americana Roadtrip This photoshoot was built around a Viewmaster invitation made by Melangerie, Inc. We created a reception built around a roadtrip theme with tables named after iconic roadtrip stops the Grand Canyon and Graceland and key chain escort cards. Our signature drink was an all

American Jack and Coke, and we found a collection of vintage state plates to use as chargers. Maps served as a table runner, and we used vintage bottles for a simple flower display that would not compete with our souvenir centerpieces.
