funky geometric wedding - The Azalea

Funky Geometric Wedding

The industrial look of the Azalea, geometric shapes and dried flowers created the vision for this funky wedding inspiration. Christie Q Photography dreamt up this wedding inspiration for two years before putting a plan into action. With the help of amazing vendors, and this beautiful couple, Christie was able to complete this vision and bring it to life in the most dreamy of ways!

DARK & MOODY

The details of the day came together in a flawless session with a couple of refreshing twists on more recent trends. The dried and bleached flowers mixed with the peachy roses adds the perfect mix of soft and unique. The bohemian elements of the wedding inspiration are contrasted beautifully by the funky geometric shapes of the ceremony piece.

HOMEY YET MODERN

“I’ve known Jess a long time - through many years, multiple relationships, lots of growth in the good times and the bad, but I’ve never seen her this happy with anyone. She recently came out, so watching her light up with Ky and feel truly comfortable and strong was so beautiful, empowering and the best aspect of this shoot. Capturing trust and authenticity in love is far more impactful than any trend could ever be, and that is truly what made an impression on me during and after this shoot!” says Christie of models Jess and Ky

Cheers!

Hannah + Braden

the great saltair

While Hannah and Braden grew up in the same city and even attended the same school, the pair didn’t officially meet until they both attended a mutual friend’s wedding reception. Hannah and Braden realized they were both heading off to the University of Southern Utah in fall, and later Hannah sent him an Instagram friend request to show she was interested. Hannah and Braden ended up running into each other on the first day of school on campus, and finally set up an official date!
