While Lauren was working in the labour and delivery unit, she met David’s mom who insisted that she meet her single son. After many hints and stories, the couple finally exchanged numbers and as they say, the rest is history. Photographer Jaleesa Matteazzi snapped this beautiful sun-lit engagement session at Bird’s Eye Cove Farm to celebrate the happy proposal.

THE PROPOSAL

Something that David learned very early on about Lauren was her love for anything Christmas-related. Going to Butchart Gardens to look at the Christmas lights became a tradition for the two, one that started with one of their very first dates and continued with their proposal. As Lauren and David walked through the gardens amidst all of the twinkle lights, David knelt down on one knee and asked his bride to marry him.
