Introduction to brand guidelines How to fit in this guide More than a name or a logo. More than a name or a logo on a box. And more than what the box contains. The guidelines that direct communications for Manao Software are part of a larger effort to build awareness, understanding and preference for the brand and services in the markets in which we compete. To build a brand that endures. Manao Software’s brand including the logo, name, colors and identifying elements are reserved as company assets. We are responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unwanted use of the Manao Software name and marks.

To fit in with clearspace

Minimum size of logo

To ensure the legibility we let the logo breathe by giving it some clear space. The minimum clear space of the standard version must correspond to half of the Manao symbol.

The brand logo represents its visual strength in various sizes. In print, the logo width should never be smaller than 25 mm. On screen, it must be at least 70 pixels wide. There is no maximum size of the brand logo.

To fit in with clearspace

Minimum size of logo

To ensure legibility we let the logo breathe by giving it some clear space. The minimum clear space of the square logo version must be a quarter of the size of the logo symbol.

The brand logo represents its visual strength in various sizes. In print, the logo width should never be smaller than 10mm. On screen, it must be at least 40 pixels. There is no maximum size of the brand logo.

Acceptable background Standard logo colored version

Background to choose The most effective background color is white; on which to reproduce the color logo as it gives a clean contrast for the logo’s color and elements. If the color reproduction is not available, the logo should be reproduced in solid black. It can be used on a reverse background of white color on black.

Try to make sure that the Manao logo should appear in the lower lefthand corner, in full color, on a white background. The proper placement in this location for communication purpose helps to build brandawareness. How do you measure the proper clearspace? Clear space from the bottom and right or left edge is minimum 1” as illustrated in the demo below. If the logo placement is not applied in the lower right corner, an alternate placement can be applied in the top right corner. Please make sure that it has clear space to breathe.

Logo misuse

It is important that the appearance of the Logo remains consistent. The Logo should not be misinterpreted, modified, or added to. No attempt should be made to alter the Logo in any way. Its orientation, colour and composition should remain as indicated in this document — there are no exceptions. To illustrate this point, some of the more likely mistakes are shown on this page.

Do not use the stacked version of the logo, or in any way manipulate the relationship between the logotype and the icon.

Do not apply a gradient to the icon or logotype.

Do not change the logo color or tone outside those colours specified in the colour section of this guide.

Do not rotate the logo.

Do not manipulate or draw your own Icon.

Corporate colors

Core colors Color can bring the rhythm in a design. It inspires and connects people all together. Bright, pure and energetic colors play vital role to represent the corporate identity. Manao Software has two primary official colors: Solid Green and Bright Green. These colors have become a recognizable identifier for the company. The secondary colors are complementary to our official colors.

Secondary colors

A palette of secondary colors which will give a alternate choice of the brand for more details to use in media. Dark green is allowed to use for areas which need strong or solid background or element. Yellow and Orange are allowed to use for highlights or notifications, but should not be used in the main design as background or main core elements (5-15% are acceptable).
