Healthcare center
Intervention at El Cabanyal. ETSAV El Cabanyal is part of an old fishermen district in Valencia. The aim of the project was to look for a social integration and better relationships between neighbours. The project needs to be based on a strong urban planning as well as proposing new facilities and social housing.

Temporary cafĂŠ
Intervention at El Cabanyal. ETSAV The incorporation of a temporary cafĂŠ-bar activates the public activity in the streets. Depending on the upcoming events and their needs, the bar could be installed easily by the neighbours. Once it will be taken apart, a wooden structure stays with a double function: urban furniture (bench, bins, lightings) and also decoration for the old dividing wall.

Landscape proposal Júcar riverside Teamwork. ETSAV
Urban planning and traffic re-organisation of the town of Cullera (Valencia). Creation of pedestrian spaces as “promenades”, to walk, have a rest or meeting points, where people of the village are invited to get back to the riverside and traditional activities related to it.

I. The location
High performance Sport-School. ETSAV Mas Quemado could defined as an old small village, nowadays uninhabited. The intervention in this place needs a previous study of the physic, climate and social characteristics of the surroundings. Then, we would be ready to understand the origin, morphology, nature and pathologies of that traditional architecture.

II. The existant
High performance Sport-School. ETSAV The intervention is based on three concepts: conservation, reusing and incorporation. The first step would be the recuperation of the abandoned rests of the village. The old stone walls would be reinforced Using materials gathered from the surroundings, the old Mas Quemado is restorated and ready to contain the common spaces of the school (classrooms, library, dining room).

III. The arrivals
High performance Sport-School. ETSAV The new buildings complete the program needed, and they will use the land nature to get installed (terraces). The village restoration is inspired by the traditional techniques of construction. In the same way, the new volumes will be a reinterpretation of those old techniques, typical of the village as well as their materials: stone, wood and ceramics.

Theater La Mouche
Interior design of a theater in St Genis Laval Due to some technical problems, the project borns with the need of a re-organisation of the hall, main performance hall and office spaces. After winning the competition of the city council, a contemporary proposal is given to improve the entrance and itinerary of the builiding. Other aspects as lighting and sound insultation are carefully studied.

Housing in Ivry-sur-Seine
173 apartments, shops and car park near Paris. The building is part of a new housing complexed recently built in Ivry-sur-Seine. The apartments are designed with two, three and four rooms, attending to family needs and location of the project. A metal facade cover the main concrete structure, allowing every apartment to enjoy the terraces provided.

Arcueil
Housing building in Paris district A three-storey building is set in a new residential area in Arcueil, Paris. It is characterised by the difference between each level, which provides movements and dynamism to the facade drawing.

Changing room
New changing room for a tennis court in Orlienas. Proposal of a new changing room needed in the sports facilities of the town, including lockers and showers installation. A black wooden cladding covers the facades and roof, giving the impression of a completely closed box. Technical details are carefully designed, also attending to the metal doors and windows selected by the owner.

Marketplace in Istanbul
Teamwork competition organised by Ctrl+Space The program for this Marketplace is a set of activities that will introduce a new commercial dynamic in the area: market space, information office, teahouse, workshop aeras, exhibition gallery and a parking lot. We proposed the Market of Knowledge. Not only for buying, but also a place for teaching and learning. A place where culture and knowledge can be transfered. The builiding is organised in different levels and disciplines connected by a waywalk. Each discipline is composed by six market stands directly linked with a workshop boxs above them, where laboratories take place.

English publication after a workshop. ENSAN Research work about society and development of an architectural project and urban planning in Limerick and Dublin, Ireland. Exposition and collaboration with the city council, culture and heritage department, architecture universities of Limerick and Dublin and their students.

Construire en terre crue
Theorical masterclass + workshop. ENSAN Workshop about understanding the nature of the main earth and natural fibres as a building material. Study of the geological aspects of the earth, the history of construction in mud, construction techniques and processes, earthen architectural heritage, pathologies and diagnostics, restoration systems. Learning different techniques: preparing mixtures, manufacture of adobe bricks, implementation of the cob, rammed evarth, adobe and cob.
