The POWER of small Podcast brings the Rosemont College community closer to those individuals who impact the College every day.
We discuss important topics that alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the College will find intriguing. Hosted by President Jayson Boyers and Director of Alumni Relations Joe Darrah, conversation topics include education and academia, religion and faith, healthcare, and social issues. New episodes can be expected every week during the academic year. A special thank you to Alumna Pat Ciarrocchi, class of ’74 who recorded the podcast’s intro and outro, and to Frank Klose, Rosemont Faculty member, who newly arranged the Rosemont Alma Mater for use on the Podcast.
Our first Podcast Topics:
Diversity, Inclusion, & Social Discussion Yoli Alovor, PhD, Rosemont College’s Chief of Staff and Vice President for Diversity and Belonging, speaks about the social climate and the need to focus on diversity and inclusion as she joins the Rosemont community. Mental Health During The Covid Pandemic Patrick Rowley, Academic Unit Leader and Assistant Professor of Graduate Counseling at Rosemont College, is interviewed about the impact that coronavirus has had on mental health during the pandemic and the role that tele-counseling plays as the pandemic continues. Intersection of Academics & Athletics Christine Hagedorn, Assistant Professor, Undergraduate College of Business, Discipline Coordinator, NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative at Rosemont, provides insight into how student athletes identify their collegiate experiences through sports and how the loss of athletics during the pandemic affects them inside and outside the classroom.

Alumni Book Clubs & Movie Clubs are in Full Swing
More than 100 Rosemont College alumni are part of the new Book Clubs and Movie Clubs that took shape this summer. Moderators include alumni and staff members from the Offices of Alumni Relations, College Relations, and Kistler Library, some who are alumni themselves! Some alumni have joined both the Book Club & Movie Club, which are organized into groups of about 10-15 alumni.
To join either club, email Joe Darrah ’11 Director of Alumni Relations at joe.darrah@rosemont.edu “It is wonderful to connect with Rosemont alums from all over the country to have an intellectual discussion like we did during our time at Rosemont.” Susan DiGironimo ’18
