rAADio Board 2022

August 2021 Present

PATIO Magazine editor, Latin GSAPP

rAADio is an investigation by Advanced Architectural Design students in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University. As a cohort from a plurality of diverse backgrounds, we aim to observe the many polycentric entanglements of architecture. We explore the questions of how we expand the traditional role and associations of architecture between assemblages, interrelationships, bodies, and technologies; beyond simple scalar translations. Patio is an independent, student-run editorial platform focused on critical issues of the Latin American community and built environment. The digital/analog platform selects a topic, which provides the thematic construction for multidisciplinary creative and analytical contributions both in written and graphic form. Patio is the domain of todos/todas/todes, a pluralistic space that welcomes all humanistic expressions of nationality, gender, race, color, or creed and advances a critical attitude on the complexities of identity. Patio is supported by the Columbia University and Institute of Latin American Studies.
