HPV FUNWAY RMIT INDUSTRIAL DESIGN STUDIO 3 PROJECT
At present our roads are filled with big, noisy vehicles that pollute the very air we breathe. But imagine a world without them. Where the loudest things you could hear while riding down the street are the rustle of the leaves. Here I present to you the FUNWAY. A human powered v ehicle for a no car future . A vehicle designed to fit the needs of new mothers or fathers to help assist them in the daily grind. Anything from taking the kids to school, taking them to football practice and lugging home the groceries. Or you could just simply use it for the leisurely weekend ride along with the kids in the back. The funway provides seating for one adult driver and can fit 2 - 3 children of up to seven years of age in the passenger seat located behind the driver. It also provides you with a storage component situated just behind of the passenger seat. As well as seating and storage, a windshield is fastened to the frame to protect the occupants from the elements, such as wind, rain and dirt. Think about it? This could be our sustainable future, but remember, you should do it the FUNWAY.
