ROD HUTCHINSON BAITS AND CARPPRO TO PUT NORTH AMERICAN CARP ON THE MAP CarpPro Anglers Somerville and Snow Join Hutchinson Baits Test Team, CarpPro to Distribute Hutchinson in North America

United States of America, Sep 07, 2012 -- Round Rock, TX, September 7, 2012--CarpPro is proud to announce that two of its pro-staffers, Richard Somerville and Josh Snow, will join the Hutchinson Baits test team, the only US-based anglers to do so. The agreement builds on the relationship established this year that allows CarpPro to sell and distribute the entire range of products from Hutchinson Baits. "We're incredibly proud to be working with Rod Hutchinson Baits," said David Smith, founder of USCARPPROmagazine and co-owner of USCarpPro, LLC. "Hutchinson is one of the leading names in carp fishing circles and has rapidly become the most talked-about product in the Paylaking world. Our vision is to expand upon that success and harness the surge in interest in carp fishing in North America and bring it to a wider audience. We believe Hutchinson is an ideal strategic partner to help us achieve that goal." USCARPPRO and the CarpPro brand are undergoing a rapid transformation in order to build upon that momentum in the carp fishing market, one that USCARPPROmagazine has done much to create. Smith added, "We've seen a huge increase in the popularity of carp fishing in America in recent years, as evidenced by the increasing readership of our magazine. We are working hard to build upon our successes and this announcement is just the first of several exciting developments from CarpPro." Texas-based Richard Somerville is arguably one of North America's most successful big fish anglers, with numerous 40-pound carp captured in multiple states. Originally from England, Richard started his carp fishing career alongside Shaun Harrison in the Midlands and interacted with Rod Hutchinson in the early days. He was one of the first to use Hutchinson's famous Sense Appeal. Since moving to Texas, Richard also targets the indigenous smallmouth buffalo, a fish similar to carp that can attain weights upward of 100 pounds. He is now a professional carp and buffalo angler and hopes to attract anglers from around the world to come and enjoy the incredible sport that Texas has to offer. Richard appeared as a guide on the well-received World Fishing Network show, Reel Fishy Jobs, with Mark Melnyk. Texas is a productive winter fishing state which will enable Richard to produce a steady stream of captures, reviews, and news stories for Hutchinson Baits and for CarpPro while fishing in

Europe is slow. An experienced bait maker, Richard will incorporate his favorite Hutchinson ingredients and attractors into his baits. New York-based Joshua "Josh" Snow represents the new breed of North American carp angler. He turned to carp after years chasing bass and salmonids in upstate New York. Inspired by European style methods Josh is embedded in the Northeast hotbed of carping and is well-connected with the premier tournament organization, Wild Carp Companies. He targets big fish and recently upped his personal best to 37lb. Josh won't rest until he gets a forty. Method, packbait and particles form the basis of his angling, coupled with soaked hook baits. Josh's tactics and approach are perfectly suited to the Hutchinson Baits range carried by CarpPro in North America. New York will likely freeze for the winter and fishing will be slow, so Josh will be most active in spring, summer and autumn. Smith added, "Both these anglers are very active members of the CarpPro pro team, and will represent the brand to best of their ability. CarpPro co-owner Keith Cisney will represent Hutchinson Baits within the Carolinas where he has already established Hutchinson as the 'go-to' brand in the paylake world. We have every faith in all of them." About US CarpPro, LLC Round Rock, Texas-based USCarpPro, LLC, operating as CarpPro, was founded in 2012 to build upon the success of USCARPPROmagazine.
