BAIT DIP & BAIT SOAK By Diego Brizzi RH Team Italy

When we hear of soaking, the argument often ligation to simple concoctions for use only as a trigger to dip a boilie making it more fragrant. In truth, this analysis turns out to be quite superficial. A good soaking created and used with due care in certain situations, it can really make a difference. Speed of action The purpose of a good dip is to make boilies tastier, more attractive then faster, faster than a boilie gets the favors of fish in a short time is definitely a deadly weapon. We can frame the right use of a soak in all those caught without baiting early one, two nights available where it can happen that you have to deal with carp listless, where will the throat and not hunger the only factor that can make them fall into the trap. Bait Dip & Taste Integrator Personally I like to distinguish soaks into two types: DIP BAIT & TASTE INTEGRATOR.

Bait Dip: are known to many. Are nothing more than the classic soaks to enhance the boilie as a trigger, nothing less than a good system to get there before the fish bait. Taste Integrator: literally supplements taste, are more than just a soaking but real flavor enhancers.

One of the first characteristics that differentiate the two types of soaking is their mode of operation. The use of bait dip will be limited to the immersion of the single bait as a trigger, and a good supplement to taste liquid will be poured into all the baits that we are going to use during the session of fishing. Preparation of [BD] Bait Dip Preparation of a classic [BD] is quite simple, there is no rule of composition, so below I will show you a classic. The thing to which we will always reference the liquid base that we used to use in our home so we can add mixes of ‘water to speed up the penetration of the attractors and flavorings. Attention, as already mentioned it is important not to vary the composition of the liquid so that the bottom will have a ‘bait practically equal to those used in pasture but simply with a signal food / taste stronger. BD ) Base liquid per 1000 Gr Mix liquid base per 100 ml Bait Dip amino acids 10 ml Amino aroma 8 ml Sweetener 1 ml essential oil 41 ml water.

TI ) aste Integrator For supplements taste the going gets a bit trickier. We have said that we will use these liquid mixtures to enhance all the lures to use in our session for 2 main purposes: to enhance the taste of the bait and increase the olfactory trail. www.rodhutchinson.co.uk

For a correct and more targeted composition we distinguish [TI] in two compositions targeted, one for all the baits basic sweet / fruity while the other for all those bait fish from the base / spicy. Inevitably the two compositions have two things in common: amino acids and water. Of valuable allies for the compositions may be sweet: Corn steep liquor, molasses, Sweetner, NHDC, Aroma and Glucose Syrup. A small note on the latter which is nothing more than a concentration of sugars and very dense water that dissolves in water. It is mainly used in the confectionery industry, in our [TI] will serve to sweeten the bait and expand the sugar signals. To compose the [TI] dedicated to blends “strong we could successfully use complex oils, fish oils and liquid liver. The liquid liver is no other than a compound of pharmaceutical derivation containing the various nutrients present in the liver and often by addition of an aromatic blend to the liver. Below is a table that illustrates how to dose correctly simplifying the liquids to create valid [TI].

Dive time and Usage. The immersion time for the classic bait [BD] will be related to the use that we make. It will be enough bait soak for about 2 hours for a spread in the water “amplified only in the first minutes of immersion. This method is recommended for places with good fishing pressure. In case the use will be addressed in great waters where the trigger will only together with a vast carpet of groundbait, we can leave the primer to soak until its almost complete saturation. For the [TI] do not exist dive times since the totality of the mixture will be absorbed by our boilies. The only advice is to pay the [TI] in their bait 24 hours before the session so that the boilies have a chance to absorb the liquid. One last tip: the [TI] of oily composition are optimal for fishing at great depths. The oils in general in fact have a vertical dispersion and are great allies to catch any carp circulates through several meters above the bait. If you do not want to go crazy for the production of homemade soak, soak any of the RH line will do the trick because they possess all the characteristics described above.
