CHARGES FOR EXTRA ACTIVITIES 2023-24
The School aims to provide a wide variety of activities for all girls within the curriculum and in the extra-curricular programme without additional charge. However, the School also makes regular provision for specialist individual, shared or group tuition that is paid for as an ‘extra’
• In order to apply for extra activities, please use this link to submit your application form https://roedean.wufoo.com/forms/tuition-for-extra-activities-application-form/
• Extras involve an additional time and financial commitment and girls may not take up extra subjects without joint approval of parents and their Head of Year/Tutor Girls must be able to meet all their commitments fully.
• Every effort will be made to make up lessons missed for any reason, but when a lesson is missed through no fault of the teacher concerned the School cannot guarantee that lessons will be made up, and under these circumstances the normal charge will be made.
• Please notify the Head of the relevant department in writing if subjects/activities are to be discontinued.
• Since payment has to be made to the teachers concerned, subjects/activities may only be terminated at the end of a term, for which a half of one term’s notice in writing is required. If a subject/activity is discontinued during a term, the whole of that term’s charge will be payable. Girls may not themselves negotiate withdrawal.
• A term’s fees will be charged if correct notice is not given.
