BIG IDEAS

Mrs Nicola Gane, Principal Mrs Gane has been at Deepdene since 1994. After many years as Head of Early Years and Proprietor, she is now loving her new role as Principal. She believes wholeheartedly in a holistic approach to education, where children are offered a broad and rich learning experience. She believes children’s all round happiness must come first, so they are engaged and open to new ideas, and will therefore be in the best position to learn well.

Ms Tracey Hayward, Head of Upper School Ms Hayward joined Deepdene School in September 2004. In her time at Deepdene, she has taught across many of the year groups and supported the school as it expanded into the preparatory school it is today. She became Head of History in 2014 and has worked to develop history teaching into an exciting curriculum. Ms Hayward has a real commitment to education and believes that the learning environment at Deepdene School allows each pupil to achieve to the best of their ability.

Mrs Sophie Mills, Head of Lower School Mrs Mills has taught in both the state and independent sectors and has 28 years of teaching experience.
