Ella joined House 2 this academic year. This is Ella’s first time away from home and we are very impressed by her grown up attitude towards handling the transition. She has settled into life in the House well and jumps at the chance to try out all the new activities and opportunities. Ella has quickly made some wonderful friendships and loves sharing a room with her friends. Ella’s confidence, independence and understanding of English is growing every day. 時光⾶逝，我成為Roedean的⼀分⼦已經⼀個多⽉了。進入 學校前，我對Roedean的⾒解是⼀間傳統學校，誤會所有⽼ 師的想法會非常守舊，踏進校園後卻讓我⼤開眼界。不論是 學校的互聯網還是教學設備都先進齊全，應有盡有，同學們 友善熱情，互相幫助，無論何時都團結⼀⼼，不論是體育， 還是學業⽅⾯，都各有所長，⼤部份更是體藝兼得。 由於我是Year 9的海外新⽣，⽼師會格外照顧我，讓我在溝通 ⽅⾯更有⾃信。個⼈最喜歡的是數學課，不但⽼師的⽔準⾼， 同學也非常幽默，讓課堂變得精彩有趣。學校課外活動多姿多 彩，五花八⾨，由運動到⾳樂，藝術到家政的課外活動都非常 齊全。體育課，⽼師會特別由基礎開始教新⽣不同運動，讓我 有機會找到⾃⼰的專長和潛能。⽂學⽅⾯，學校有不同的語⽂ 學會給予學⽣們參加，了解各地⽂化。 作為寄宿⽣最關⼼的想必都是宿舍環境和⼀⽇三餐。學校食物 質素很⾼，提供不同選擇，還有不同地區的菜⾊。宿舍房間充 滿時尚感，有分為單⼈、雙⼈和三⼈房，因應年級來分配房 間。房間的儲備空間非常充⾜，床也很舒服，我在這裏從來沒 有試過失眠。星期五六⽇更是我作為寄宿⽣最喜歡的⽇⼦。星 期五晚飯後，我們可以去超市，星期六或⽇，學校會安排⼩巴 帶我們到市中⼼或其他地⽅購物，吸收⼀下新鮮空氣，雖然這 些活動不是⼀定要參加，但卻是我最積極報名的活動。不單如 此，每天不同House都會舉辦不同的活動，例如做蛋糕、薄餅 或是⼀些簡單的⼿作。我在這裡⽣活的時間不長，卻讓我感覺 已經融入校園⽣活真的⼗分期待接下來在這裏的⽇⼦!
